In one of his many, many media-whoring interviews this week, Jon Gosselin reveals that he loves his current ditsy, drugging girlfriend more than he ever loved Kate, the mother of his children and his wife for ten years.
In his pathetic attempt to save his image (but ruining it further in the process) he calls Homewrecking Hailey Glassman, his 22 year old bimbo, "the polar opposite" of Kate as well as being his "soul-mate".
Says douchebag Jon: "I get encouragement from her, I get respect from her. Two things that a man needs. This is someone, I mean, like soul mate — like people joke about that. But I'm not joking about that."
You mean she lets you go out and screw around and blow off your responsibilities, like your kids, without pestering you about it later? What part of that constitutes you as a man?
Obviously, it doesn't matter. All that matters is how America thinks of him, and right now, he knows how we feel about him, but he is hoping things will change: "It's just like the change from America's favorite dad to dirt-bag. Tomorrow I could be maybe … America's favorite dad again. It could be after this interview."

Dunno. Never heard of Jon and Kate before the debacle. Since then I definitely favor Kate's public persona. Yet it really is possible for 1 person to diminish, be hateful and beyond derogatory to another such that the victim looks bad and falls apart. There's lots of examples of this kind of thing. It's why we should treat each other well I think bc we never know what another person's going through. The sorry thing is the kids and it's his job to snap out of himself now and be good to them when he's with them. He can go to counseling for his unrequited heart. Everyone seems to forget that Kate always had people at the house helping her take care of the babies… friends, family, nannies, cameracrew, bodyguards, visitors, etc. Jon spent his time with his family or at work, not out on the town cavorting about, as I recall. He didn't appear to be a "two year old baby" when he was making money and doing diaper changes. Kate just acted however she wanted because remember, she's a TYPE A PERSONALITY. There was an episode where Kate told him he was breathing too loud - guess she got her way, she doesn't have to listen to him breathe anymore.
What has he done that is so bad? He is co-parenting, they have said they get equal time with the kids so how is he so much worse than her for moving on with his personal life since they have been split up for almost a year now.

She is a very vocal person and yes she was harsh at times, but she has taken a much higher road since their split. She continues to stay focussed on her children and not get caught up in ugly he says she says. She has openly said that she has been embarassed of the way she treated Jon looking back and that she was harsh but she cannot take back the past. She has proven that her head is in the right place and is not out soaking up the fame by partying and acting 21 again. Everyone points Kate out to be a bad person, but she is clearly living her life and I think has handled herself extremely well the past few months!
Jon is such a dick! He needs to just shut up already! He is only making himself look like more of a douche every time he opens his mouth! LOSER!!!

I can only hope that if I was in her position I would be strong enough to continuously take the high road and not get caught up in the childish and rude comments. Kate has done a great job at doing the best she can to keep the details of their divorce private and not talk badly about Jon other than saying his actions are disapointing or that she wouldn't act the way Jon has.
Jon is emotionally ABUSING HIS CHILDREN when he bashes their Mom on TV. They go to school and their friends talk to them even if they do not see it live. There are 8 kids, 2 dogs, nannies and housekeepers in that house and dumb Jon loses his ring and says Kate stole it. Jon takes the kids to the fence to meet STRANGERS. They could be casing the place ready to kidnap a child and the poor little kid will think it is Daddy's friend as Daddy took them down to the fence to meet them. Jon is putting these little ones in danger.
I think Perez and cquinn25 have it exactly right. His kids will be ashamed of him someday soon. I can't stand the sight of that selfish immature man. And I did watch the show and know all about how Kate treated him, but nothing excuses his behaviour now. What a lot of people don't seem to realize is that Kate isn't the one who's going to suffer because of Jon's behaviour-their kids will be the ones who pay in the future, just like they're the ones paying for his place in Trump Towers and his bimbo girlfriend now.

She is a control freak nag, he is a beat down guy going thru a mid life crisis seeking respect and love of a woman. NO ONE is wrong in this situation. Both have faults, both are dealing and struggling in there own way. Both love their children. In the media's eye. He is not prepared or ready for that. She far more manipulative, PC and business savy. End of the day, these are real people, being judged by some who have NEVER been married, have kids, or have the slightest idea what the true details are. Stop judging peeps. P.S. Who do you think is watching the kids when it's Kates weekend and she has work obligations. Highly doubt she drags all 8 kiddos. She is just savy about not making when she is the absent parent.
