Lady GaGa has teamed up with Dr. Dre to launch a signature line of fashionstatement earphones.

Yes, your earphones are part of your style.

Time to throw those crappy white buds that came with you Ipod away!

The earphones will be called Heartbeats (off of Dre's line called Beats) and the earpieces will be jewelled; they are said to be the essence of a "melange" between high-tech and fashion.

The marketing materials for the headphones claim:

"In the deepest hour of the night, I confess to myself three things; I would die if I was forbidden to write, forbidden to love, or forbidden to fashion. Heartbeats embody the trinity of my human-being, with one additional vow: that SOUND matters. Wear Heartbeats, love each other, and celebrate the art and lifestyle of music."

Them must be some magical headphones!
