Weekend Update Still A One Man Show

Looks like the females on SNL just can't catch a break!

As we previously mentioned, Kristen Wiig was reportedly going to be the new co-anchor at the Weekend Update desk.

However, according to Entertainment Weekly an SNL "insider" says the report is "not true" and is simply " an internet-fueled rumor".

So we're back to listening to Seth Meyers talk to himself? Great.

      Be grateful, could be worse. It could be Jimmy Fallon talking to himself. Now THERE'S a terrible idea for a late night show.

      Jimmy Fallon and Tiny Fey were the funniest pairing. But Amy Pohler and Seth Meyers were good for a while. I agree with w.e SNL does. Funniest late night show ever.

      I love Seth Meyers but Kristen Wiig would've been a great addition to the Weekend Update skits. Bummer.

      I sent him that link! Ha, I feel strangely proud of myself considering the fact that nobody really cares…even I don't really care that much. Don't know why I sent that thing in the first place. Anyway, yeah for me! ;-)

      Seth Myers is not now nor has he ever been funny. Weekend update could use a co anchor cause just like the real news I fast foward all the time. It's not the same without Amy Poehler. And when she left, we saw just how boring and unfunny Seth is!
