really? can i go to a school for short people? for people with brown hair?
Ya know, if you weren't so stupid you'd notice that GLBT or whatever else don't have it that bad.
Do they have homes? Most of them.
Do they have food? Most of them do.
Can they get a job? If they were to try instead of whining about not getting hired because of something besides their sexuality, yes.
Do they live in a place where AIDS/HIV has taken control of their country and threatens their lives everyday? Maybe, not likely though.
Is their water clean to drink? Yes, probably.
If you're too ashamed of your sexuality to go to a real school then you're going to be ashamed of your degree from a certified GLBT school.
Why don't you put something useful up for others to donate to? I bet you don't even donate…
I've heard alot about this! Isn't there a school or academy down in TX for the GLBT? There somthing like, and the bought an old apartment building to serve as dorm or something but its been years…
It has been demonstrated that girls get a better education in girls only classrooms. It is also understood that LGBTQ youth get a better education in an environment which understands their needs fully. Sorry to tell you folks, but the comments here are evidence of my point, rank and file public schools tend do a particularly poor job of educating with sensitivity to the needs of their students.

Re: timmins – NO it is not saying what you suggest. It IS suggesting that no LGBTQ student should have their education compromised because sexuality.

How retarded!!! How about a school for Polish or Irish females…. Or for ONLY women with children… This shit is getting old!! Everyone thinks they deserve their own everything!!! Such a sense of entitlement. How about everyone just being treated equally!!!!!

To all of the negative commenters… Obviously you've never been bullied to the point of considering suicide or dropping out of school. I doubt every GLBT kid will want to go to this Online High School, but to those who are bullied into a state of despair an Online high School of like minded people would offer a safe haven and minimal interruption of education. I think it's a great idea.
BTW the day kids are killed and violently harassed for being fat, short or brunette is the day I would consider special online schools for them too. Of course, it would be much better if society learned to accept and tolerate people's differences, but considering the attitude of the people who have commented here, I doubt that will be happening soon.
