You are so behind the curve it isn't even funny. Back in the 90s, artist-run labels were all the rage…until they ALL collapsed and failed shortly thereafter. Grand Royal, Maverick, all run by big-time heavyweight artists…and all the shitty bands they signed didn't sell any records, and this is back when people still bought discs.

The problem is, your little label isn't about the bands, it's about YOU. No band in their right mind would sign with you, as you will use them to further your own career ambitions solely. That's what you are all about, whoring your own brand name.
