This is just getting beyond ridiculous.
Douchebag Jon Gosselin has been going on an all-out media campaign to defend himself and bash the mother of his eight kids.
And now he's opening up about the supposed "therapy" he received… from Dr. Phil!
On yesterday's ABC special, Primetime: Family Secrets, Jon reveals that Kate Gosselin would only agree to go to therapy if it was with Dr. Phil.
Says Jon, "I was very hesitant. I was like, 'What the heck is this?'"
Well, we kinda agree there. Wouldn't you want to go to private therapy with a certified, good marriage counselor?
But according to Jon, the session with Dr. Phil wasn't really about fixing their marriage, but more about fixing their TV show!
Jon adds, "We talked about the brand and corporate things and making the brand work. I felt it was weird. I was like, 'Why am I here? I could be snowboarding.' It wasn't helping."
As for Dr. Phil, he simply said "I respect the Gosselins' privacy, I have no comment on their marriage."
If this is true, we wonder how Kate will spin it. Though she still seems like the better parent, but Jon's doing a good job of trying to make her look bad!

Its clear to ANYONE who ACTUALLY watched the show that KATE is a verbally and emotionally abusive, narcissistic, control freak. Jon tried to please her for yrs. Jon doesn't have to TRY to make her look bad. All anyone has to do is WATCH THE SHOW!!

I watched the show from the beginning, do not support abuse, but I never saw anything Kate did that justifies his behaviour. Jon keeps talking about a man needing respect and blaa blaa blaa, but a real man doesn't need his wife to hold his hand and tell him he's a good boy. A real man acts like an adult and puts his childrens' physical and emotional well-being above his own. Jon is simply NOT doing that at this point, so whether he's been abused or not isn't even the question. He's a dad, his job is to put his kids ahead of himself, and he's not doing it.

Second, on the topic of Kate not giving one of the girls a water, it's not a bad mom thing to do. Clearly you don't have kids. If she gave, ( believe it was Cara) water, then the rest would have wanted some, then some would have pee, or some would spill it, they had to wait a little bit until the interview was over and she would have been fine.
I think Jon is setting a terrible example for his kids, and disrespecting someone he was supposed to have loved. I feel awful for Kate.

But to be totally honest, I'm a bit miffed. I mean, why does everyone care so much? It's not like anyone actually knows what goes on when the cameras or off, or in between edits. Anyone on here with a strong opinion sounds like high school kids when they try to talk politics; extremely opinionated yet utterly ignorant. I mean, honestly, how can anyone comment on anyone else's marriage or parenting skills.
p.s. I also feel that the words 'evil' and 'abuse' should be used sparingly, because neither one of them is truly evil (I have seen no pentagrams and last I checked none of the kids had been sacrificed). Also, you realize that there are plenty of people in the country who are actually hit and physically abused, or who have horrible lives that involve drug abuse, sexual abuse, and other forms of really horrible abuse. I vote we all focus on something that is actually important!

JON is a deadbeat dad who makes no money- yet Jon is criticised for going to France to try to get work
Jon is stupid for staying with Kate and allowing himself to be abused- yet Jon is also a bad guy cause he didn't stay in the abusive, loveless marriage.
Jon is a loser for taking Kates verbal abuse when he lived with her- yet he is a bad guy for standing up against the abuse now.
Jon is going out to parties when he should be at home with his 8 kids- even though its not his TURN to be with his 8 kids
Jon is a famewhore - even though the media follows him around night and day trying to get a story about him and Perez posts on him daily while at the same time telling him to go away!
Kate is not a famewhore even though she has cut everyone out of her kids lives except the media and TLC . She has been in People Mag, Larry King, on The View, and whoring out her kids as usual.

Jon should not date because its too soon- even though both Jon and Kate said that their separation was MONTHS ago and KATE says the kids are find when it suits her.
Kate is a good mother - even though she is on film for 5 seasons verbally abusing her husband and at times her kids
Kate did so much more then Jon on the show- even though Jon is seen feeding, bathing, dressing , playing with, and providing for the kids, while Kate is pretty much seen doing nothing but yelling, criticising, making unreasonable demands, and serving food and talking about how controlling she is.
Kate is suddenly a great person- even though she is clearly not herself in interviews anymore. Every word seems calculated and planned, nothing is spontaneous.
Jon is bad for saying he could have been snowboarding ( which he only got to do twice- yet Kate went to the spa all the time and that was OK.
Jon is accused of spending money ( yet aside from a new car and residence nothing has been seen yet to prove this) Yet Kate had a perfectly good kitchen remodeled, went to spas all the time, and wanted to do a show on her clothing and image change
Jon is a jerk for saying he wants to find love again and wants to be able to be himself and do things he likes, but its ok when Kate looks out the kitchen of her new home and says " Its all mine. As far as the eye can see" Even thought she claims everything belongs to the kids.
