Kate Gosselin Didn't Want Marriage Counseling
This is just getting beyond ridiculous.
Douchebag Jon Gosselin has been going on an all-out media campaign to defend himself and bash the mother of his eight kids.
And now he's opening up about the supposed "therapy" he received… from Dr. Phil!
On yesterday's ABC special, Primetime: Family Secrets, Jon reveals that Kate Gosselin would only agree to go to therapy if it was with Dr. Phil.
Says Jon, "I was very hesitant. I was like, 'What the heck is this?'"
Well, we kinda agree there. Wouldn't you want to go to private therapy with a certified, good marriage counselor?
But according to Jon, the session with Dr. Phil wasn't really about fixing their marriage, but more about fixing their TV show!
Jon adds, "We talked about the brand and corporate things and making the brand work. I felt it was weird. I was like, 'Why am I here? I could be snowboarding.' It wasn't helping."
As for Dr. Phil, he simply said "I respect the Gosselins' privacy, I have no comment on their marriage."
If this is true, we wonder how Kate will spin it. Though she still seems like the better parent, but Jon's doing a good job of trying to make her look bad!

Where Kate SCREAMED in 3 yr old Collins face that she was throwing away the blanket that he took to bed with him every night because it had gum on it?? When he begn to cry she told him it was too bad. Mady came in and told Kate that he slept with the blanket every night. Seems even Mady , who Kate refers to as the one with the least amount of caring for the tuplets, even understood that you do not treat a 3 yr old that way. WONDER WHO KATE IS ABUSING NOW!?!?!?

Kate would like to thank each and every one of her supporters for helping to keep the spotlight off her so that she can continue to whore out the kids on TLC and make MORE money. She would like to also thank you for ignoring the fact that she did not try to go to counseling to save her marriage. She did not try to stop the show to save her marriage, she did not try to assume responsibility for her own abusive behavior so that the kids could have a father, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. She would like to thank you for making the abuse possible and she will continue to try to dress well and fake cry for you all in public.

It is truely pathetic to me that ANYONE would insinuate that someone who is not physically abused is therefore NOT really abused. Verbal and emotional abuse is rampant in this country. Emotional abuse effects a persons life every bit as much as physical abuse . I challenge any one of you to choose any one bit of negative self talk that you have at some time in your life engaged in ( we all engage in negative self talk from time to time) Now ask yourself …where have you heard it before??? Chances are it was from a parent or someone else in your life. It takes 300 positive statements to undo 1 negative one. You abuse supporters are truely pathetic and unthinking. The amount of damage that can be done to children and adults via verbal abuse is staggering.

It was revealed in People magazine that Jaycee Dugard , who was kidnapped 18 yrs ago and recently released having mothered 2 children from her abuser was brainwashed. As part of the same story Shawn Hornbeck reveals that every aspect of his life was controlled. This type of abuse is accomplished verbally ,so to discount verbal abuse is SICK! Abuse is about CONTROL. EVEN physical abuse is about CONTROL! Many abusers look normal and try to appear normal.

I love how this guy slams Kate and then makes himself look even douchier than her. I didn't think it was possible. Yeah, let's go play winter games instead of working on a marriage that concerns 8 children. These people are SO beyond selfish, all this trash talk is going to mess their children up even worse than they already will be. I know it's kind of late to say this but… THINK OF THE KIDS, FOR ONCE. To all the people blabbing about watching the show and how we'd side with Jon if we did - I actually watched this garbage at one time (before I realized what an exploitative piece of crap it was) and I have to tell you, I wasn't on either team. People do to you what you let them do to you. Kate would insult him and he'd tuck his tail between his legs and look at the floor. That is NOT a man and clearly someone who doesn't respect himself so it's no wonder he doesn't get respect from Kate or anyone else with half a brain cell. I have no sympathy for her either, but it's pretty clear if she wasn't running the ship, it would have sunk because he clearly wasn't doing anything. Also, for people complaining that Kate's insistence on doing the show and making money was the problem, need I remind you that Jon was a grown adult male who had just as much of a say in what happened and clearly doesn't seem to mind now that he's blowing his kids hard earned cash. Amazing how no one has any actual proof that Jon has done something wrong. All you people have is whining that he is out at parties instead of being with the kids and has a girlfriend. Which is pretty funny considering he can't be with the kids when its not his turn to be with them. He is not the one who refused to go to counseling. As bad as this particular stint looks, I still can't believe there are people that take Jon's side in this.
I mean, yeah, she's high strung and sometimes a bitch, but there's no need for him to carry on in his current jack-assery.
I've watched the show, no need to pounce on my 'non-knowledge' of it. I could care less how he used to be, it's what he's making of the present. Sure he earned some merit, but not nearly enough to get him out of all the current bull.
Honestly though, it doesn't even come down to how they treat / treated each other.
At the end of the day, it's about their kids, and Jon is setting a terrible, TERRIBLE example. One day, the kids are going to look back on this, and be able to see their parents entire divorce laid out for them in black and white. Who do you think they'll be more embarrassed of? The mother who turned down money to do a Playboy shoot, or the dad who's off to clubs making cash off of what ever media he can get.
The parent who stayed at home with them and looked out for them, or the one off with his sleazy girlfriend who's only 13 years older than his oldest daughters.
I feel so bad for those poor kids. No one deserves to be caught in the middle of their parents divorce. Especially when the entire world is watching.

I can see why Kate would not go to just any counseling. As they could be selling their story to whoever the highest bidder (regard;ess of ethic code).
John felt beaten down by Kate. Why the hell didn't he put her in her place before it got so bad? Typical case of a wet noodle. Rather than speak up, let it go on and on until he explodes. The longer it went on, the more of a power trip it was for her. I think she liked being in command and he let her.

I am going to stop looking at your blogs perez. You obviously have never been in a controlling relationship. once your out of it you go a little crazy with the freedom for a while. It does not mean that you dont love your kids, in fact you leave that relationship so that you can have a better relationship with your kids on your terms, not on someone elses. STOP bashing jon and watch the show from beginning till now and you will understand why jon is enjoying some freedom. Team Jon all the way
