Melrose Debuts With A Dud!
The series premiere of Melrose Place Tuesday night was a HUGE disappointment for The CW.
The highly advertised premiere came in a staggering last place in the network ratings!
Even last year's (now-canceled) Privileged had a bigger audience for their first episode…by 37 percent!
Ouch! The truth hurts, doesn't it, Asslee?
We're not sure if Heather Locklear can even save this hot mess of a show?

i watched it…. it was ok…preferred 90210…last night… there weren't too much of Ashlee either so we can't really blame her
i really liked it, i hope they don't cancel it.
i watched it and was majorly dissapointed. way to many things going on at once. i defenitly wont watch the next episode….can't wait till vampire diaries & gossip girl

yeah i tried to watch , i mean i was excited…….but 2 minutes into it….i was already over it! BLAH! next crappy show please….. even 90210 didn't satisfy my night! ugh!
I thought it was pretty well done. I used to watch the original so I was constantly comparing the two. I have to say out of all the characters I have no idea what Ashley Simpson is doing there. The writers did not do a good job of incorporating her into the cast. Either that or they realized she sucked so bad they gave her limited lines. Either way I will definitely watch again to see how it developes.

Soo was anybody else completely confused all through out the show until they finally sped everything up within humm the last 2 minutes of the show? How stupid! They could've used that juice in the first 40 minutes.
I liked it, although how does Mancini have a son that's in his 20's??? I kept waiting to see how they brought Sydney back as she died in the original show. A one liner about faking her death?? Come on - needs better writers. The guys kind of all look alike too, hard to tell them apart.

I LOVE IT! BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION. It's still early, but one episode, once people realize it's the hottest show on TV, they'll start watching!

O.k first of all..WTF…Kill Sydney, that was a dumb move..she could have rocked that show. The rest of the cast…bla…bla…not the same MP so why even bother calling it that…look at the building apartments there not even the same. The charm is just not there…
But…anyone who is smart enough will see who Ashlee really is going to turn out to be…..Sydneys Daughter…hello…that sign was like painted out by her taking the pic and the red hair…

you know, these ratings people are fucking twats. whatever's a good episode TO THE FANS of the show, they give it a bad rating. whenever it's a god awful show, the ratings are higher.

Actually it is pretty cool - watching it tonight Wed because I was too tired from my big weekend to watch Tuesday - luv the mix of new and old cast and lots of mega cute hotties - wrong day perhaps to premier but overall great show - I'll be tuned in next week!

I said this when 90210 came out you can never remake an original because its honestly never going to be the same, no matter what celebrities you cast ..

I watched for the first 15 minutes and thought it was one of he dumbest shows i have seen!! Sydney back from the dead?????…to get killed off on the first episode?????? I didn't like any of the characters and was it my imagination or did they skip the opening song ( cheesy now I know but back in the day when you heard the opening song you sat & watched this guilty pleasure….everyone knew that song ) I wish networks would come up with ORIGINAL programming instead of this crap!!!! What's next, a remake of Buffy?????

They need to fire Asslee Simpson. I switched over to this show during the commercials of Big Brother and Asslee is a horrible actress. She and Jessica must share the same acting coach. If this show wants any chance of success, Asslee has to go. She is a joke in the entertainment industry and cannot be taken seriously (not to mention she is fug and this show is filled with hotties).

I watched 90210, and tried Melrose place for 10 minutes but couldn't get into it. There are just too many of these shows with the same format. I thought it sucked.

maybe now people in hollywood can come up with an ORIGINAL idea and quit spinning off shows that dont need spinning off in the first place
