Yeah, here's a wonderful review LOL: bHe seems to be built from parts of other pop stars – Prince's looks, Mika's falsetto, Pink's dress sense – but the result is not so much uber-star as watered-down mixture. The only quality that is uniquely his own is the tendency to embellish songs with a highly stylised breathiness. But the whole thing added up to a frustrating lack of substance. Had he been on a big stage with a full band, perhaps he could have summoned up some show-stopping dynamism, but here, supported only by a bowler-hatted guitarist, he was simply giggly. It didn't help that the set was accompanied by a semi-animated video of him pulling wacky poses. If pop doesn't work out, at least a CBeebies presenting career awaits.
