Paula Is Stunned By Ellen
With the exciting news breaking yesterday that Ellen DeGeneres is going to be the 4th judge on the next season of American Idol, Paula Abdul is said to be "very upset" at being permanently replaced.
A source close to Fox says that Paula, like Ellen, was surprised by the news because she had no warning of the announcement and found out the same time as the public.
Supposedly Paula held out some hope that a last-minute deal could have been worked out for her return to Idol, but it's become quite clear that Fox is moving in a different direction.
Better get crackin' on that talk show, Abdrool!

Ellen doesn't belong on Idol. She is a comedian, not a musician. You only find it "exciting" because she is a lesbian.

I love Ellen, but I do not think that she is the perfect person to judge on "Music" she could judge on a "Comedy" talent show. But, if it was not Ellen, it was going to be someone else because Paula got blind. She doesn't want to accept that thanks to AI she saw the Hollywood light again. Maybe she gets another chance and will learn to appreciate it!
I think that Ellen will be a GREAT judge on AI!! If you think about it on her show she listens to tons of different music, so at least she loves music. And Paula get yourself together!

I NEVER watched Idol for the Judges I watched to see who would be the Next American Idol.. The Pope could Judge it wouldnt make me stop watching
