Drake Reveals He's 'Scared' In Open Letter About The Shooting Of Alton Sterling

We really hope the proximity of these senseless deaths finally lead to some real change.
As you've probably heard by now, Alton Sterling was the first of two black men to be shot and killed by Police in America so far this week.
The 37-year-old father-of-five was selling CDs outside a store when two Baton Rouge, Louisiana cops responded to a call and began aggressively handling Alton before shooting him in the back while he was already restrained and pinned on the ground.

Obviously, most Americans took issue with the killing -- especially since officers Blane Salamoni and Howie Lake II were caught on camera using brutal force -- and celebrities are no different.
While most celebs immediately took to social media to voice their grief over the loss, Drake decided to take his time to pen a touching letter to Alton's family on Wednesday.
In the emotional Instagram post, the rapper noted that while he doesn't know exactly how to push the Black Lives Matter movement forward, he's confident an open and "honest dialogue" will get things started!
Ch-ch-check out Drake's message to Alton and his family, as well as all the victims of gun violence (below)!!!

love him! and wish him all he best…you give the world great music Phil…
That sucks. Love Phil.
Man, that sucks. Phil never gets the credit he deserves for his drumming because everyone knows him from singing and writing. Look up some old footage of him on Youtube, doing dual drum solos with Chester Thompson.
The man was incredible behind the kit.
Yes Phil, hope it doesn't go any worse
words from Billy Joel -
Though I'm living and I'm singing
And although my hands no longer play……..
*
bad joke……oh well…….
He already got his times. Anything that we do in excess bring repecursions in life!
Brilliant musician!!!
So sorry to hear this. Loved his drumming and singing. I can still hear him singing the haunting "Against All Odds".
I Can't Dance, I Can't Playyy
Genesis just toured and put out an album. So he isn't a former member. Peter Gabriel is you fat fuck
poor singing turtle wash up 80's old dude.
Now that's great music.
Love him. Wish him well.
Crazy how times are a flying and Phil is pushing 60!! WOW!!!! Guess he better take it easy if he wants to be pain free into his elder years. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hope he comes out with some new music before his voice takes a shit too..
thank god, now go AWAY.
Good thing he still can sing. Where would Genesis be without his voice?
I always preferred his drumming over his singing…
Love him. He's a great artist. His solo music as well as Genesis. Thats too bad about his back
Hope things get better!
Phil is a great musician. I have severe back problems and believe me,it sucks!
Do what you got to do,Phil. You're right, you can still sing.
he's not putting his "health" first you idiot. He can't play any more. it hurts. duh. Athletes give up sports because their bodies don't perform any more; same with musicians. I think it was a VERY "easy decision to make," if you don't like pain. he could try playing while lying down. some of us can't even type on our keyboards without pain….
How heartbreaking.
Keep singing Phil.
Wonderful man does so much charity work, you know.
WTF!!! I am bummed. I seriously have a bunch of his records. Genesis and just Phil. Some doctor needs to fix him up. Poor fella.
Your true fans love you and wish you all the best.
This is so sad… some of the people commenting here need to realise that playing the drums, which is obviously something that he loves, would not just be about the performances and things that you see. So you may think that he has been doing for too long, or you didn't like him or whatever, but he can't do it for himself now either… think of the thing that you do to take time out and just have fun, and now imagine if you couldn't do that anymore. It's something that he is very talented at and obviously gets a lot of happiness and satisfaction out of and he can't do it anymore. I think it's really sad that he can't keep going with this, even just for himself.
Aging blows–and the day I hear that James Hetfield can no longer play guitar or sing or write lyrics is the day I drink myself into a coma.
Oh no!!! I have loved Phil since I was Pre-pubescent…and I'm almost 40 now so–do the math. Phil Baby….Love you beautiful!
AND OH CAN HE SING HIS VOICE IS SO SEKSI …..I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN LUV WITH PHIL COLLINS …I SHOULD CHANGE MY NAME TO MRS PHIL COLLINS
Phil Collins is one of the greatest ever. No one is playing music like this nowdays. Everyone is making studio music which is something we can all do with our computer…..Make more Phil Collins

I am SO not a Phil Collins fan, but I do wish him all the best.
he is such a douchebag and misogynist..
i enjoy hearing he is in pain.
That really blows, he is one of the best drummers I've ever seen live. That's a damn shame.
that really sucks!
THANK CHRIST FOR THAT
WE LOVE YOU PHIL,, so sorry to hear this.. YOU ARE A GIFTED & AMAZING MAN
wow… that really sucks
I love Phil Collins ,Sisudio is one of the best up-beat songs ever! Hate to hear that about him. So sad!
So sad. I love Phil Colllins' music. With Genesis or solo, he is phenomenal! Hate to hear that about him. Love 'Against All Odds'. It's one of his best!
No loss there – the guy couldn't drum for shit anyway. The sad thing is that his back pain won't stop him from inflicting his cheesy songwriting upon the world.
i love phil collins and that sucks but i still have my phil collins greatest hits cd hahaha
LOVE PHIL!! One of the BEST.. Get better darlin!!!!
