Sporty Spice Taking On The West End

Melanie C, aka Sporty Spice, has just been cast in the West End production of Blood Brothers in the role of Mrs. Johnstone.
She has some big shoes to fill as past Mrs. J's include Petula Clark, Kiki Dee and Carole King!
The fans are excited for her debut on October 26, some even changing their original theatre plans to get tickets for Mel's run.
We love Mel C's voice and know that she can really sing, but how's her acting?
It doesn't bode well that her only acting credit is in the crapfest that was Spiceworld!

One key fact to note, from a Londoner, is that Blood Brothers is officially the worst musical in the West End. This gig is like the reaching the lowest rung of the ladder, as she'll be playing to a) coach loads of incontinent old ladies on a day out in London and b) confused tourists expecting blood. Bless the Sporty, we do love her dearly over here, but this is nature's way of saying "Wembley Stadium days are over dear…."

Sporty was my favorite Spice out of the girls. I used to love that tat on her arm of the cross.

Anywayz I always admired sporty typed chicks. That is why I loved Aaliyah soo much.
Dont bash Blood Brothers!!! I saw that show in the West end and it was FABULOUS!!! I absolutely loved it and was moved to tears. Seriously. I was crying for 20 minutes after it ended. I wish I could see her in it!!!!!!
Got my tickets booked for 27th and 28th, can't wait! Blood Brothers is a top show and Melanie is a legend!
P.S. Spiceworld is a top film.
