Hence, we're super excited to hear that on October 27th, Taylor will be re-releasing her mega hit album, Fearless, with all kinds of goodies attached.
The re-release will include 6 brand new songs, as well as a DVD with "photos, tour footage and her videos, including her comedic clip with T-Pain from the CMT Awards earlier this year."
What an excellent marketing scheme to squeeze every last drop out of fans. Hey, we'll probably buy it.

I really don't get all the hype about her. I've listened to her cds and gave her a real chance and as much as I would like to like her stuff I just can't. Lyrically it's not terrible, but her vocals are very weak for country music. She sounds so whiny. So, no I will not be picking up her re-released album. It's effing stupid anway. Why doesn't she just release a cd of new material? LAME!
I absolutely love Taylor Swift and have loved her since I first heard "Tim McGraw" but I absolutely hate when artists do this. What about us fans who went and bout the album the day it came out and helped it become such a success…now we are supposed to shell out more money for alot of the same songs…or we just miss out on the extras because we were big enough fans to go out and buy the album the first time around…I think they need to have a way that those who bought the album the first time around can get the bonus stuff at a cheaper costs…..show the fans a little respect and our empty wallets.
She should release the new tracks and the DVD as an entirely new package.

Why you promote this girl over someone with obvious vocal talent (read Carrie Underwood) is beyond me. Yeah she writes some ok songs … but performance-wise? Give me a break. And it's obvious this has been rushed to capitalize or horn in on Carrie's album release on 11/3. Taylor Swift may be a 'performer' (and I use the term loosely since she can't hold a note or even stay on pitch without copious amounts of help in the studio) - but she's not the vocalist or Entertainer (of the year) that Carrie Underwood is. Face it Perez … you're a bandwagon hopper. Why you promote people like Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga is beyond me - shows that you obviously value style over substance. As for me, I'll stick with the talented, substantive artists.
