      Never.. !!
This is a day that not even people in the U.S will never forget.. it marks us all!..

    14. 14

I live in Canada, and I even remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news….I hope those families are all healing

    15. 15

      Jews did it.

    16. 16

I remember smelling the bodies about two days later. and also seeing blocks and blocks of people holding candles and signs and signs of missing people. As though it is somewhat in denial and half crazy and yet half sad. There were actually people retrieved from the wreckage hours later and of course retrieving bodies and hopefully they were mostly intact. If family members only retrieved a head, they were te lucky ones in able to bury their dead.

    17. 17

I won't. Its the reason why I had to go serve our country in Iraq from February 2004 to March 2005. "GOD BLESS THE USA!!!"

    18. 18

      woah I cannot believe it's been 8 years…

'terrorist attacks can shake the foundation of our biggest buildings. but they can not touch the foundation of america'…best quote its always my away message on september 11

    27. 27

      damn. eight years. :/

    28. 28

I'm also Canadian & I totally remember where I was & what I was doing when the news came on TV. RIP to the brave souls & my heart goes out to all their family's.

    29. 29

How many 9/11s has America helped inflict on other parts of the world since then? How many innocent lives were claimed in other cities? I'll never forget 9/11, because the vicious cycle of war and violence didn't stop when it should have.

    30. 30

rip 2 all of those who left us! :(

    31. 31

      never forget

      REALLY… I FORGOT
      LIFE GOES ON

    35. 35

i can't believe it was eight years ago…it feels like just yesterday. it's crazy to me that there are probably kids on your site around 10-15 years old who don't really even remember it

    40. 40

      I'll never forget!

    41. 41

      Enough from the irrelevant Canadians.

Our enemies have made the mistake that America’s enemies always make. They saw liberty and thought they saw weakness. And now, they see defeat.
      - George W. Bush, President of the United States

    42. 42

All the people who said to move on…and they've already forgotten…yeah they only say that because their head is so far up their ass they dont see anything else but their own shit.
You've never lost anything important in your life.

9/11 will NEVER be forgotten, and neither willt he people we lost that day.
God bless us all. Be thankful you're here today. 8 years…we'll never forget.

    43. 43

The best way to show your respect to the victims of 9/11 is to demand the U.S. government do a complete and honest investigation of what happened that day.

*****More money was spent investigating Bill Clinton for Monica Lewisky's semen-stained dress than 9/11.*****

    44. 44

      Re: hummmm

i completely agree. yes, 9/11 was horrible, but it sure as hell didnt give americans the right to invade other (innocent) countries and kill. more people died at the hands of americans than americans themselves. disgusting.

    45. 45

OX to all the people who lost a loved one. God Bless America!

    46. 46

lol blah blah blah shut the fuck up and move on

      Re: Toronto_girl – fuck you…and canada sucks

    49. 49

how can anyone forget the PSYOP that was 9/11 when it's thrown in your face every single day, with the jack ass mind controlled puppet we have for president.

    50. 50

      Enough from the irrelevant Canadians.

Our enemies have made the mistake that America’s enemies always make. They saw liberty and thought they saw weakness. And now, they see defeat.
      - George W. Bush, President of the United States

    51. 51

      Re: Toronto_girl
You are an embarrassment to Canadians.

I am a Canadian and remember every minute. We even called the Red Cross to volunteer our help. Like MOST Canadians, we too felt the pain of that day and we grieved with you. I feel for all US citizens on this day every year. I went to Ground Zero this summer and you can still feel the sadness there, even though they are rebuilding. My thoughts are with you today.

    52. 52

      RIP and God bless

    53. 53

      GOD BLESS AMERICA……………………………

    54. 54

Re: Anonny-Mousse – WHAT? I DID FORGET! I DIDNT PAY ATTENTION AND DIDNT NOTICE TODAY WAS SEPT 11. LIFE GOES ON, IT MUST.

    55. 55

      NEVER FORGET!!!!!
      O beautiful for spacious skies,
      For amber waves of grain,
      For purple mountain majesties
      Above the fruited plain!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
      From sea to shining sea!
      O beautiful for pilgrim feet,
      Whose stern impassion'd stress
      A thoroughfare for freedom beat
      Across the wilderness!
America! America! God mend thine ev'ry flaw,
      Confirm thy soul in self-control,
      Thy liberty in law!
O beautiful for heroes proved In liberating strife,
Who more than self their country loved,
      And mercy more than life!
America! America! May God thy gold refine
      Till all success be nobleness,
      And ev'ry gain divine!
      O Beautiful for patriot dream
      That sees beyond the years
      Thine alabaster cities gleam,
      Undimmed by human tears!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
      From sea to shining sea!

    56. 56

it changed the world… but 8 years? won't be long before most teenagers just look at it as some lomg-ago tragedy that doesn't affect them… the way we always used to view the kennedy assassination…

    57. 57

still not 9/11 for me. such a horrible day.
rip those of you amazing people we lost.

    58. 58

As always, my heart goes out to the families and survivors… what affects our neighbours affects us Canadians too.

    59. 59

Please don't lump all Canadians in with Toronto_Girl. She is in a tiny, ignorant minority.

And we're irrelevant? How many plane loads of Americans did we take in when they shut all the airports? How many emergency crews did we send down? We had our own ceremonies here to pay tribute to your fallen. Please don't call us irrelevant.

    60. 60

RIP AND TO THEIR FAMILIES MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES….
      .
AND 4 ALL THE HEROES…. WE SALUTE U.
      .
      FROM PUERTO RICO..

A LAS FAMILIAS LATINAS..MIS CONDOLENCIAS Y ESPERAMOS Q ESTEN BIEN Y LOS DIFUNTOS DESCANSEN EN PAZ, CON LA AYUDA DE DIOS LE SUPLICAMOS Q LES DE CONFORMIDAD Y VALOR PARA SEGUIR ADELANTE.

    61. 61

Re: MindControl – irrelevant Canadians? Wow, fuck you. As if 9/11 didn't affect us. Typical Americans, so fucking self-centred. Oh sorry, do you understand my Canadian spelling?

    62. 62

God Bless America, United We STAND…………………..

    63. 63

I'm from Costa Rica and will remember it forever. i was 11 and the teacher brought the TV into the class and turned on CNN…i remember i just started crying. very sad day…it changed us all.

    64. 64

Umm for all you stupid yanks…it wasnt just americans that died that day you know!! Canadians and Brits alike can feel sad about that day!

    65. 65

Re: Hi_Boo – Yeah, I guess we Canadians are irrelevant when it comes to 9/11. You know, except for the fact that we too lost citizens on that horrible day. And that all those diverted American planes landed on Canadian soil and we welcomed all those stranded passengers into our homes. And we fought beside you in Afghanistan and are to this day losing soldiers in battle. But yeah, I guess we're irrelevant. Grow up.

To all those who lost their lives 8 years ago, and to the soldiers who have lost their lives since then fighting the war on terror, rest in peace. And no, we will never forget.

    66. 66

    82. 82

My thoughts are with all who've lost friends and loved ones on 9/11.

    83. 83

I'll remember how it was exploited to start two poorly planned and devastating wars, as well as pushing us into a national deficit, fear mongering the public, and eliminating virtually all worldwide sympathy we had gained shortly after.

Over 3,000 people lost their lives that day. How many more have suffered or died since because of our greedy, self-serving leaders?

    84. 84

THUS the "war on terror" began. I can remember I was in my fourth grade class in the morning. I didn't know what was going on, but I was excited that the teacher was distracted, because i knew something big was going on. He turned on the TV, and we saw. We saw people jumping off the top story building, we saw the twin towers fall. We saw the dust from the buildings. We had no idea. Our teacher, he was crying as he watched people jump. Sad, sad day. I cannot even fathom how horrible it must have been. RIP 9/11 victims.

    85. 85

What a nightmare, It was such a mild, bright, crisp, typical September day here in NYC, and each year during this time, the weather itself awakes all those memories in my head, like reopening a wound that i thought had already healed. Never forget indeed.

    86. 86

Re: AideniLoveyou – Killing innocent citizens and invading that territory (which one was it? Iraq? NO, Iran? NO, Afghanistan! Third times the charm!) was one of the worst decisions America could have ever done. Why is it that America is always in a constant state of war? Americans do not know what it is like to actually be at war. We've never had a foreign country invade OUR territory (god forbid). I greatly respect the men and women that fight for our country. So if by saying "Kicking their ass" you mean killing innocent children and families, then your very right.

    87. 87

Re: lpancakesl – Couldnt have said it any better myself quite honestly.

    88. 88

EVERYONE….SHOW HOW WE WILL NEVER FORGET…..
FLY YOUR FLAG TOMORROW….LET IT BLOW IN THE WIND…..
      MAY WE SHOW HOW WE AMERICANS WILL N E V E R F O R G E T !

and…. Always Drink LOTS of water.!

    89. 89

8 years ago today not only New York but the rest of the world changed forever. RIP to the victims.

    90. 90

Re: smellypants – you don't know what the fuck your talking about either. ignorant twat! you must be a pre-teen, or completely out of your mind if you think its even remotely appropriate to make a joke about that. what the fuck!? how can you all be so insensitive? that changed ALL of our lives, including mine, forever. I have it engrained in my head till the day I die. I'll never forget.

    91. 91

Saddness. :( . What's sadder is that people seem to forget that it was not only Americans that died, but thousands of internationals as well. So when you ask what gave America the right to invade then why not go talk to those people all around the world who felt invaded and destroyed when they lost their loved ones on that day.

Also, Remember this history will repeat itself and this could happen to any country. If this would have happened in Toronto or London or Tokyo what would you be saying? Not to mention did you forget about Pearl Harbor or the devestation of Hiroshima. You see it's interesting because people do forget they forget that every action has a consequence and thus is the reason Afghanistan was invaded. I'm not saying I agree with Iraq, but honestly if you felt invaded what would you do. Sit back and grieve and let the monsters get away that hurt you? It's interesting how these circles never seem to end.

RIP to everyone who died this day.

    92. 92

Re: natty_cakes – You won't be saying that in 20 years when we're still fighting the "war on terror".

    93. 93
