Over 3,000 people lost their lives. and you find that funny?! you think that people can just move on from a tragedy like this? some kids became orphans because their parents both worked in the trade center. wives became widows, and parents lost their children. i don't understand how its even remotely funny!

      I'll never forget those who lost and sacrificed their lives. I appreciate the soldiers, willingly, fighting for our freedom everyday. Everytime I see a solider I ALWAYS thank them for risking their lives to make sure that we are free and for everything that they do. EVERYONE should do the same. Once when I was in the grocery store, a soldier (just returning from his 2nd tour in Iraq) and his wife were standing in line behind me. I turned to thank him and he actually starting tearing up. He, in turn, thanked me for saying that and that he wished more people would do it. He also said that it meant the world to him to hear that. I encourage more people to do it. It makes such an impact on their lives just knowing that people DO care.

The United States had supported Saddam Hussien and sold him weapons and supplies when he was killing his own people with chemical weapons, then claims that one of the reasons the US will invade Iraq is because Saddam uses chemical weapons. Life doesn't go on for the fire fighters who lost their lives trying to save people in the twin towers. Life doesn't go on for the children who lost mothers and fathers, or parents that have had to bury children. Life doesn't go on for the people who had to jump to their deaths.       At the same time, when half a million iraq children were killed, the US said it was a necessary sacrifice. Never is that a necessary sacrifice for ANYTHING. Not even the end of the world.

      I know no one will probably read this, but, I live in NJ and the amount of people that I have met in the last 8 years that have been affected by that day directly and indirectly is amazing. I have met a child that lost his father and will NEVER be the same. A woman that lost her husband of 3 months, after waiting a lifetime to meet him and marry him. Another lady that donated all her free time to feeding the volunteers and is now terminally ill with breast cancer, and the doctors blame HER for being down at Ground Zero and say that is the reason for her cancer. Many people have lost a ton from that one day in history and I am humbled to know them and have them tell me all about their loved ones they have lost. If we don't remember them, their stories and what occured on that day, then we are doing them and HISTORY a disservice. God Bless America.
