Here it is: Pirates of the Caribbean: In Strange Waters!
Today, the big announcement was made at the Walt Disney Co.'s D23 Expo in Anaheim, just as Johnny Depp himself surprised an audience of 5,000 people by appearing on stage, in full costume and character, as Captain Jack Sparrow!
Johnny arrived in style in a gliding replica of his famous Black Pearl ship and cracked jokes with the audience about rum and the tasty dish that appeared before him - Kermit the Frog! Johhny Jack joked: "probably tastes like chicken."
We're not going to lie - we're a bit jealous we couldn't have been there.

It IS Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and no you wont have to wait 3 years because last I checked it's 2009 and the movie comes out summer of 2011. I don't know about you but when I do the math that's only 2 years.
Johnny Depp MUST do Dark Shadows first before making any more horrible pirate movies.

I was there for the announcement and it was awesome…the pirates music starting playing and everyone went nuts and then to actually see Johnny Depp was amazing, my life is now complete!

I was at D23, in the first row!, when Johnny came out. Unfortunately, security made us surrender all our cameras and cell phones so no one was able to get any photos! I guarantee the Disney people are going to hear about my anger over that.

Hell yeah!! Johnny = living legend +pure hotness! Don't cae what movie he is in, he makes it good!
I was also there, about 8 rows back and it was amazing. A lot of people actually left seconds before he came on stage because Miley Cyrus had done a surprise performance of "The Climb" immediately before Johnny came out (the Muppets was just before that) and they all thought she was the finale. His entrance was amazing and I will never forget it. Every person in the audience stood up and went crazy before he even really appeared, just after the Pirates 4 photo hit the screen. The curtains opened and you saw sails blowing in wind, then his silhouette appeared behind the sail and the crowd got even louder! The sail finally turned around and there he was! He was hilarious. Like another commenter said, no one was allowed to bring in cameras or phones sot he video you can find on youtube is only the very beginning and very end of his appearance. He was actually on stage for a few minutes talking and joking in Jack Sparrow character. I will never forget that moment!
Johnny Depp stole MY undead monkey when we were lost deep in the Viet Nam jungle and now he makes poor wickle Charlie work all the time. JD, I WANT my MONKEY back!!

It was awesome soo worth it the Travoltas were also there and everyone stood up for them. A few other producers the highlights were Tim Burton, and Guillermo Del Torro. But Miley got the least applause from the crowd! It was sooo hilarious! poor her! Nicholas Cage was there too. It was worth sitting through everyone just to see Johnny! Something so awesome!
PS how did you get the pic no one was allowed to take pics of that stuff they even had MJ's suit from that disney movie he was in.
