SNL Star Not Fat, But PHAT!

We recently clued you in on some gossip we were hearing about the axed SNL cast member, Casey Wilson.
Word was that she was given the boot for not losing the bloat (aka, she's was considered too fat!)
Well, Casey wants to clear up the rumors, but at the same time, still doesn't give us any real explanation. She says:
"I had an amazing time on SNL, and these rumors are completely untrue. And to clarify, the issue isn't that I'm too fat, it's that I'm too phat. Can I get a WHAT-WHAT!"
No, you cannot. We don't understand what that's suppose to mean. If you were so "phat", why'd you get canned?
Something doesn't smell right in the land of late night comedy!

She wasn't funny at all. When they tried to replace her with Mya it wasn't so good. I hope they get rid of those other girls who they tried to replace Amy with.

Wow - she's curvy in a good 'I probably eat one good meal a day' way - so I hope this is wrong!!!
First of all, she's really not overweight - just curvy. Secondly, I have seen many of her skits and she just was not that funny in them, her delivery wasn't as sharp/witty as everyone else or in some cases, both. I'm glad this decision was made and I think the show will be better without her. Kristen Wiig should be in every skit

Wow, that sucks…Casey was actually one of my favorite…she was awesome int hat Cougar sketch and as Rachel Ray…plus, for once a size 12 in Tv made you feel a lot better as a woman! WTF SNL?? How about firing Bobby Moyhanan who is a lousy comedian anyway…Casey is brilliant and has done already a lot of things (Bride Wars, Julie & Julia, Killers with Katherine Hegil and Ashton Kutcher)
i think casey is beautiful! not only a hilarious actress, but a talented writer too (Bride Wars screenplay and numerous skits on snl to name only a few). i hear that she got offered a great gig elsewhere - i can't wait to see what she does next -

She prolly doesn't want to burn any bridges, Lorin Michale's is pretty powerful after all. Tina Fey was kept off the air for the same reasons as well. They didn't give her an on-air role for a while, she was just writing.
The writers didn't write for her very well either, she was funny- she got IN to SNL. That is very, very hard to do.

i enjoyed her appearances on the show. I thought she was quite funny and entertaining. I think SNL made a big boo-boo.

There really needs to be more women on SNL like in the beginning when it was half men and half women. The women on SNL can really open the fan base a lot. I though it was supposed to be a jumping off point for comedians…I guess that only applies to guys and the handful of women who have become successful. Woo Tina Fey!
WELL, SHE DIDNT DO ANYTHING! WHEN YOU ARE ON SNL, YOU HAVE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE WRITING AND SKITS AND STUFF AND SHE WASNT DOING A GOOD JOB. SHE WASNT BRINGING MUCH TO THE TABLE.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but maybe she got canned because she wasn't funny at all.
