   kay, so me and my bestfriend watched it, and it was gay.
   we were laughing the whole time because it
   was fricken' stupid. like seriously? SO MUCH of it
   was like twilight. And even though Vampire Diaries might've been
   written as a book before Twilight, Twilight was way better as
   a movie. The plot is stupid, and i'm probably gunna watch the next
   episode to brighten up my mood from all the laughter i'm gunna have.

    Vampires just need to be vampires and go back to killing people and sucking their blood and being super darn scary.
    In other words, Vampires need to be in HORROR MOVIES. Oh yeah.

    I'm not sure if Vampire Diaries ripped off Twilight or not…
    but they are pretty dang similar![just a little more scary]
    I liked it, Stephan is a HOTTIE!
    And if watching this series keeps me busy while waiting for the Twilight movies then I'm fine with that.It satifies my vampire cravings.Its a win win for everyone.

    Loved TVD books when I was younger. Was a little disappointed they changed so much out of the books but I enjoyed it and watched it twice. Twilight sucked in my opinion….I think it was the lame writing and plot. Movie was even more ridiculous with such bad acting. True Blood is awesome so far (I've only watched Season 1) and it's my favourite out of all 3. ALL the characters in TB are amazing and worth watching.

    i did watch the show and what i have to say is that i did like it but u know for sure that TRUE BLOOD IS THE BEST OF THE BEST I MEAN NOTHING CAN TOP THIS SHOW AND SORRY TO SAY THAT TWILIGHT IS GOOD BUT TRUE BLOOD IS SASTIFYING MY DESIRES A LOT MORE( coming from a twilight fan) mayb cause is more adult and sexy I mean i can get enough of sexy ERIC and the action is keeping my eyes wide open THE BAD THING IS THAT THE SEASON FINALE IS TOMMORROW…tear…O WOW THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT SUMMER bring in the heat 201O

    Since True Blood will be done for the season this Sun. I thought watching vampire Diaries might fill that need for vampire action. Not as dark and very CW but it worked, I want to watch next weeks. It's a nice escape at least from other tv crap.

    I watched it and I loved it! Within the first ten minutes there's a shirtless vampire…it's great However…very Twilightesk…plot lines are extremely similar

    I read the books (yes all of them) and Honestly i would like my time back, They were so annoying but i just had to read them i hate not finishing books, I paid good money for them so i figure even though i hate them i still have to finish them. So I am sure this show will suck. I am not going to watch, plus Elena is supposed to be BLONDE and that beyotch is a brunette
