Toy Story 3 Spoilers!!!
Filed under: Film Flickers > Disney
Warning!
If you want to be surprised by the long awaited third installment of the Toy Story franchise, don't read the rest.
There is still awhile before this flick hits theaters, but we've got the scoop on some scenes, plot points, and new characters in Toy Story 3.
For starters, since it's been ten years since the last film, times have certainly changed in Buzz and Woody's world. Their owner, Andy, is all grown up and heading for college, which means, no more toys:
"…the toys end up being sent to a daycare [center], where they are horribly abused by the little kids - and after that it's time for a break-out attempt to find a safe haven, and hopefully a new owner, in a cruel world."
One of the first scenes from the movie finds Woody in somewhat of a predicament, as he is the only toy Andy decides to hold onto. Empire Magazine was shown an exclusive clip, which they describe:
"The clip showed Andy packing from college, and emptying all his toys into a black bin bag for storage in the attic. He hesitates over Woody and Buzz, finally putting Woody in the box of things to take for college. But all the toys are panicked - especially Woody, who's worried for his friends. When Andy is distracted by his little sister and leaves the garbage bag on the landing instead of upstairs in the attic, his mother takes it out to the kerb - and a frantic Woody has to save his friends from a rapidly approaching bin lorry."
And as with most sequels, there will be a new face welcomed to the group. Mister 007 himself, Timothy Dalton, will be voicing a character named Mr. Pricklepants, "a hedgehog toy with thespian tendencies."
We think this has some promise. Since they've had 10 years, it better deliver, that's for sure.

FIRST! FIRST TIME EVER I've been first! People below me, give me a shout out!
Can't WAAAIIIT for this one! It's gonna round out the series nicely… these movies were sooo good, they deserved to be a trilogy!
Sure not saying much about your show in Atlanta last night. You know, the amazeballs one that you said to get your tickets quick before they sell out? How's that crow taste? How's it feel to be a z-loser?
Well, that sounds pretty good. And it is a clever plot, to have the little boy actually grow up. Now, it's about new children finding the same joy with his toys as Andy did over the years.
HUGE HIT for Pixar.
Can't wait! I loved the second one.
sounds good! i love toystoryyy
I CAN'T wait!!!! I was in High School when the first 2 came out and still saw them over and over, and now with a 7 yr old and 2 yr old still see them again on a pretty regular basis. Our whole family is very excited for the first 2 to return in 3-D soon! (I'm a serious Disney fanatic, can you tell? Any and all things Disney) Hooray for some details on "Episode III" How sweet that all the toys get a chance to make more children happy, so excited!!!!
kerb? really. A magazine can't even spell curb. Awesome.
Toy Stories 1 and 2 were awesome! Toy Story 3 sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I hope it lives up to the previous 2 and not like Shrek 3 which was a total disappointing crapfest.
Re: puppetless –
How wonderful!
Whomever wrote this spoiler misspelled 'curb'. What's with that?
hummm
awww… i cant wait! i love toy story.
yayyyy I love Toy Story!! Pixar always delivers I'm not worried.
UP was amazing!
i hope i dont cry in this one….why always has to have a scary and a sad part!!!! GRRR
Re: daniellex413 – Ummm…Empire is a British magazine. Just because Americans spell it incorrectly, does not mean that we must do so.
FABULOUS!!!!!
I'm not a big fan of this one. I wish they'd kept Andy as a kid. The only Pixar film I haven't liked is WallE.
Re: daniellex413 –
Um…KERB is the side of a road
CURB is to cut down on something, ie to curb on your smoking. Before you go around correcting things make sure you have at least a simple grasp of the English language.
KERB? Hahahaha wtflololol!
"Perez Smells His Skidmarks"
Well, that'll be interesting. I'll probably shell out the money to see it.
sounds like the plotline in The Brave Little Toaster
wow…i know that i'd still keep MINE fave toys when i go to college next year!! how saddd…
