Two Female Cops Suspended After RiRi Photo Leak!

| Filed under: RihannaLegal MattersChris Brown

We're surprised, too!

Two female El Lay cops have been suspended over the leaked picture of a battered Rihanna after her February domestic abuse at the hands of Beat Her Down Brown.

The photo was taken while RiRi's injuries were being examined by authorities.

Both officers, one based at the Wilshire station and the other in Hollenbeck, have been suspended after internal affairs searched their homes, offices, and lockers as part of the probe.

They face possible charges of identifying a victim of violence and further disciplinary action if convicted.

As for upholding the law, epic fail!

I wish Chris Brown would beat the shit out of you and snap your worthless neck.

  2. 2

Oh, are these the first law enforcement people in L.A. who've failed to uphold the law? Do you know how many Tinseltowners have gone free after committing a crime? How many chances did Red O'Neal have b4 he was finally tossed in the slammer?

    of course…

Perez hears 'Cops leaked photos'. Thats bull. What they did was the let world know what that man did to that woman. Maybe it was legally wrong but it was morally the right thing to do. Had no one seen those pictures it would be another woman facing violence behind closed doors. But because the photo was leaked people knew the truth and she was able to get away from him.

I agree with KittyKitty2000. Releasing the photo was illegal, but necessary. The photo allowed the world to see what a gutless, spinless coward Chris Brown really is. I'm glad they released the photos. Hopefully, the officer's careers will go on, after the reprimands.

I have to agree with kittykitty on this one,it shows what he was capable of doing !

  7. 7

That made me smile; Shame on you Bitchez…

  8. 8

how is what they did with the photo any different than what you did? they did not post it on the internet, but you did. they did not comment on it, you did. Ohhhhh Ok, now I see, you are worse

  9. 9

If it were not for the pictures no one would think it was a big deal…..I think it was good to release them….but that's just me

I am sick of this B as well. she's a big fame whore. never misses a pap opp

  11. 11

what the hell is she wearing in the pic above? looks like she stepped right outta like 1992…….her personal fashion statements always fail. can't really see the appeal, she can't even sing and then got beat up and actually (appeared) to be considering staying w/ him. on top of all that, she thinks she's "gansta" cuz she's on jay's label…….she irks my nerves…..

Re: kittykitty2000 I don't agree. People have a right to privacy period. For a lot of women, it's truly embarrassing and posting up such intimate and scary photos is just as traumatizing as the hit itself. I praise the women who do speak out, but it's not fair to those who wish for it to go away and they can try to get away from those men. Not to mention, men who beat on women like that, feel no shame because it's behind closed doors. Once it goes public, they can get further enraged and hurt the women even more, or kill them because they presume it's the woman's fault for it getting out to people. If a woman chooses, yes, that's great. But she also has a right to privacy.

Prosecute them to the fullestRe: guitar man
    # 14
Doing "a service to society" does not negate the breaking of laws. Period.
We're all in deep trouble if members of law enforcement are given permission to break laws as they see appropriate!! No no no

  16. 16

Re: Yellow Peeps Well stated. Service to society is subjective, that's why there are laws in place to begin with.

  17. 17

I'm glad they leaked the photos. The "law" doesn't have the last say on everything.

  18. 18

What a bunch of hypocrites! After all the over-the-top coverage that they gave to Rihana's beating, now they want to suspend the responsible of spreading the picture… After what, 6 months? I hate that kind of shit.

  19. Bivi says – reply to this

I hope they get convicted. NOBODY should be above the law. Although they just will get a pat on the hand.

  20. 20

You know what, as bad as it is that they did that, I'm glad the photos were leaked because people were giving RiRi shit for making it up or whatevs and after that it was a completely different situation.

  21. 21

Gee…..why am I not surprised that it was 2 WOMEN who leaked them? I hope they pay for the laws that they broke because if it was me…I woudl be royally PISSED that they leaked something of that nature. Good way to influence the public and throw the law in everyone's face. Idiots.

  22. 22

Re: kittykitty2000 – BS. They had no right morally or anything else. The only reason she "went away" is because of the photo yes, but not in the way you think. She faced the backlash and was only saving her sorry ass. Had nothing to do with speaking up against domestic violence, hitting people or using your anger out on another. She's still good with him, so tell me, how does that make your little "victim" out? She got it that time horribly yes, but there were other instanced where she instigated it ON HIM. Yet, where is the backlash on her stating that NO ONE should ever hit? Awfully silent from her. She has never even said that he was wrong. Hmmm……yet, all your Rihanna lovers want to put her on a pedastal and tear him down. BS I say. BOTH parties had their piece in this and in no way should that photo have been leaked in order to sway the public and whatnot. Police have a right to uphold ANY AND ALL laws. Not just the ones YOU feel are relevant.

  23. 23

Re: imsoregistered – You definately have a fair point. And while I agree with what you're saying, I think in the long run it was right for those photos to have been seen. If it made her think twice about going back, if it made someone else think twice then I think it was worth it. But I totally understand where you're coming from, victims do have a right to privacy of course but for those people who waive their right to anonymity make a great sacrifice for the great good. And yes, Rihanna wasn't given a choice and that WAS wrong but I think those photos being leaked were ultimately the best thing for her.

  24. 24

Re: MyOpinionOnly – You are of course entitled to your opinion. And for the record I have a male friend who has been subject to violence from his girlfriend. She should be locked up. That is NEVER ok, ever. And yes I've heard she has been violent with him too and that is again, wrong. But there is a difference between a 180lbs + man hitting a woman. End of discussion.

  25. Laura says – reply to this

yeah cops are always leaking shit…they're not that bright…or ethical….but by releasing those photos, it did put a face to domestic violence…which helps the cause to end it.

  26. 26

Ha ha thats funny she got there asses, but uh forreal no one would have forreal known it was true unless there was a photo, we all need some evidence damnn, your a star, you been done known that shit was gonna be put out there, why you just pissed at it now? This girl is trippin i would want ppl do see what my x did to me if that shit happened to me. But whatever.

  27. 27

I totally believe she's a DIKE! She probably started out hitting Chris bc she wants to be the MAN!

  28. 28

Re: kittykitty2000 – You just made yourself sound like a hypocrite. Admitting yes, its wrong and then in the last sentence you take it away because its man vs. woman. Whatever. The issue is NOT that at all….the issue is whether they had a RIGHT to release those pictures and no, they did not. They needed to have permission to do so and they violated the law. Seems simple for a COP to do and yet it wasn't. Now THAT is the end of the discussion.

  29. 29

Re: kittykitty2000 – The only reason she thought twice about giong back was because of the backlash from her fans if she did. That to me doesn't tell me somebody has learned. Someone just doesn't want tot lose their fame. If those photos hadn't been leaked, mark my words she would be with him right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they got together again after a year.

  30. 30

Re: Laura – Would help the cause more for the actual person to speak out about it instead of straight nothing. That doesn't do anything at all for the cause. I would actually respect her if she did speak out. As it is, I don't because for all the women who truly are abused……she does them no service for her silence. At least he has admitted his part that was wrong and is taking steps to correct it. That takes more guts to face then anything else she has had to face.

  31. 31

Re: MyOpinionOnly – What I said was there was a difference between a BIG guy hitting a woman. Get your facts straight before you attack me. I also said you were entitled to your opinion, as you are, as am I, as is everyone else. YOU were the one who changed the subject from the leaked pictures. I believe that in THE LONG RUN, in THE BIG PICTURE, the picture did more good in being released than not. Victims of violence (emotional, physical or otherwise), whoever they are, wherever they are and whatever sex they are gain strength is seeing others get out of the abuse and give them hope they can too. I also think those pictures shamed Chris Brown; the nation, the world condemned him. That too hits the point home that what happened to Rihanna (this situation, specifically, a MAN v a WOMAN) was WRONG. And, as a lot of people in a abusive situation are brainwashed in to thinking they deserve it or that they brought it on themselves, then to see a nation of people speak out must, in part, contribute to those victims begin to see that whats happening to them is not their fault and not ok. That is why I support the pictures being leaked. THAT is just MY opinion. Now go away, grow up and learn how to have an adult debate without attacking your opposition.

  32. 32

Re: MyOpinionOnly – On your second point which I've just seen. You could well be right, she may be with him now had the extent of her injuries not been revealed. But really, if it means two people get out of a mutually destructive relationship (note the use of the word 'mutual') then does the reason behind it really matter? As I said before a friend of mine is in a very bad relationship but cant see what their partner does to them. Its a VERY bad situation. If the law stepped in and forbid them from being anywhere near each other for x amount of years - even if this wasn't what they wanted, I'd be relieved. Thats just how I feel.

  33. 33

Re: MyOpinionOnly – One more thing. I totally agree with you on your response to Laura. She should speak out. Her silence has done nothing for victims of abuse but I guess thats her problem. Its a shame because a lot of young people look up to her. Maybe she still will.

  34. 34

Re: kittykitty2000 She was seen with him AFTER the photos were released. It was not until a judge made an order for them to stay apart that she has not been seen with him or near him (though reports say they are still speaking). It's not right to force someone to speak with their abuse pictures, if they don't want to speak up for themselves. Doesn't matter all the points of how you think it's right to show a face to the name, or so the public "believes" her. It's HER choice as a human being, and taking that choice away from her is taking away her basic rights and violating her all over again. If your sister or mother was a victim, who was completely embarrassed it happened in the first place and BEGGED you not to release information, or plaster it in the newspaper - would you do it anyways because you think it's "best" for society? No, you'd respect them. Rihanna is someone's daughter. Those laws are in place, not to protect the attacker, but to protect the VICTIM from being victimized again. The very reason the law was made, was because victim's photos were being published and people were being humiliated. Humiliating someone is NOT the best interest of ANYONE. Period.

lol funny pic with the text

  36. 36

lmao her finger and "shame on u bitches ".. TYPICAL ghetto grl :D

  37. 37

Re: imsoregistered – Clearly this is a matter which we both feel strongly about and all anyone wants is for nobody to go through any of this but we just have different ideas about what the right thing for those police officers, who had some powerful information, to do. I felt it was wrong. You disagree but I think we can both agree that what happened was totally wrong and no one should have to put up with any form of abuse.

  39. 39

    Good, they should be punished!
