What? Have You Given Up, Hollywood?!

This sounds awful!
Fox is developing a TV adaptation of the website that showcases the stupidity of America's drunken youth: Texts From Last Night.
Penning this travesty to television will be The Big Bang Theory writer Steve Holland, who will "loosely base the show's characters and plot on the whole idea of racy — and sometimes embarrassing — communication, particularly among the twentysomething set."
We aren't sure this is going to work.
There are somethings that just don't translate over to TV and we feel this is one of them.
What do U think?

Wow Fox! At times, I love you and then other times I wonder what drugs you are on? The latter is what's going on now. Seriously, Fox!
That sounds super lame…really really lame.
But seriously, it's it this type of stupidity that catapulted Paris hilton and Nichole Ritchie into the spotlight? People acting like idiots in front of a camera?
i wonder if it will be like those real-life crime shows that have "dramatizations" of the actual events with poor acting and creepy music. THAT might be funny in a "it's so pathetic it's funny" kind of way for like 5 minutes. TFLN is a mildly entertaining site, but some of the things on there are just vulgar, stupid, and clearly made up by someone trying to be "shocking" and "witty."
WHAT HAPPENED TO HAVING TALENTED PEOPLE ONLY ON TV? DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THAT?
god how f ing lame can this be
The Big Bang Theory is an amazingly hilarious show. I have purchased both seasons on DVD. If that man is writing it, this thing has a chance.
Better than recycled 80's shows over and over… and over…. Big Bang Theory was new and fresh and unique and if he can bring that to another show, it's got a shot.
I see very limited interest, kinda like replaying drunk-dialed phone messages.
huh?
That sounds ridiculously stupid. Like, just…. no. Just no.
I cant believe you are just now posting about this. get with it pig vomit
DUMB
This is a terrible idea. Of course it comes from Fox.
i don't think perez knows TFLN is an actual website…
Actually Perez your wrong. its going to be a sitcom about a girl who owns a bar with the end of each show ending with a tfln from the website. get your facts right.
terrible idea. terrible website. terrible people. trust me, these people don't need a show- law school should be enough to make them a living.
Sounds awful.
hahahaha i think thats hilarioussss
I love that website, so I'll definitely watch the pilot episode on fox if its a go.
Those of us who work in script drama have long known…all that matters to networks and studios anymore is WHAT CAN I MAKE FOR NO MONEY? That's why you're seeing so much "reality" garbage on TV these days. BTW, where have you been?! This has been going on for 5 years now. If you REALLY want a return to decent television STOP WATCHING the dreck they're broadcasting and demand better. Low ratings on their crap shows will force execs to reconsider their development choices.
FOX needs to crawl back into their foxhole and stay there!
I wish it would all go back to actors and fake worlds.. it's an escape.. everyone had problems and I really get sick of hearing and seeing everyone else's real problems.. Seriously that is why the movies are doing so great cause people are sick of reality crap.. Go back to the old days please..
the two who developed this website are both from Michigan State University! My alma matter! So all I have to say is GO MSU!!!!!!
p.s. ….the show will suck. NOT a good idea.
