      i have to admit when gaga first came on the scene i ddnt really like her music and the outfits were jus odd,but i actually started listening to her and realized that thats just her and that makes her cool thats shes outside the box! and last night had to be my favorite that ive seen from her that was a hott number and the blood at the end was just another example of how unique she is!! im lovin Gaga!!

      I am the first to admit I don't always "get" her statements but I applaud her for making them. Seriously when was the last time a performer took real unique artistic chances and also enjoyed widespread commercial success? There are other artists who are true artists, like Bjork and Tori Amos, but its nice to see her having commercial success too, not just a cult following like most avant garde performers. It also is a great message to aspiring performers that you can stay true to your artistic vision and still be popular and still be well received.

      I have to laugh bc it was the first time my husband and son had seen Lady Gaga perform live. She's not really their cup of tea….but they were literally riveted to the screen. I think I heard their jaws drop…..and the only thing they could say after was….Wow. Whether you love her or hate her…the one thing we can agree on is….you can't stop watching her. That's called a performer!!! And boy does she perform!!!

      She is a very weird lady. lol. I don't enjoy this song, but I'm not going to say that her performance was too much. In the real video, doesn't she kill her boyfriend at the end? So, I'm guessing in the performance she was supposed to hang herself. It wasn't over done. I think she did a good job, it was just a little off the wall and weird. lol.

      She is a performance artist. If you go to NY its in the galleries and onstage in the theater. She has just taken it to the music world and a lot of people who have never seen or know what performance art is don't understand or get her. I think sometimes her message or what she is trying to accomplish in her art is lost to the audience and that might be why people lash out at her. She is very avant garde and her style of performance is not for everyone.

      I thought it was absolutely amazing! I wanted to see it again to make sure I saw it right! Lady Gaga is so artistic. I would love to go to one of her concerts. My husband thought it was too weird, but he is very conservative. Plus he sees blood every day at work so perhaps he associated it with work? It was great to see you Perez cheering for GaGa!       I think it was stunning and I'm always amazed at how she makes each performance a little bit different or amps up her songs each time. She's the only CD I've actually purchased in the last year and I think she'd be the only artist I'd pay to see in concert.       When Christina Aguileira started her career, she wore outrageous outfits & did a lot of this "performance" type stage antics to make a name for herself. When she finally decided to "be herself" her music got a lot better & she acquired a wider audience - who simply appreciate her for her amazing talent. I hope Lady Gaga thinks about scaling back the outrageous outfits & lip synched performances, and focuses more on the music, singing live - which we'd all gladly pay to hear. These lip synched concerts (Brittany, Pink, Madonna, Ashlee Simpson, Lady Gaga) are so expensive - and you don't even get live music. What's that about?

      I think she's really weird, but I like her more for it. She's like Bowie or Madonna with the crazy outfits and unique sound. I thought the blood was her way of making a statement about the paparazzi's dangerous effects on stars. Just seemed to me like maybe their bloodlust was her inspiration. I don't know. Regardless, it was great. She's weird, has a pretty voice, great body seems to be a talented musician (i.e. the piano). I say lay off. Lots of artists these days suck.       Until recently.. I have avoided all things Lady Gaga… I saw her as just being a cheaper version of Dale Bozzio and marketing it as her own.. But I truly listened to her lyrics and took a look into some of her performances and this woman is truly in a league of her own.. She's ridiculously talented.. more specifically artistic.. and wonderfully entertaining.. Her performance last night really spoke to me.. It was sad,chilling,breath-taking.. and yet astonishingly sexy!
