EL Lay Welcomes Susan Boyle!!!
When Susan Boyle touched down into American soil this weekend, we're sure she never expected the kind of reception she received in LAX!
As she exited the plane into the terminal, after having flown first class with her assistant and stylist, she was greeted with a waiting crowd of 2,000 people!
Quite a welcome, huh?
After seeing the massive crowd, a visibly stunned and flattered Susan blurted: “Oh my word. Is this for me?”
She then addressed the crowd of fans by saying, “I’m really nervous and quite overwhelmed by the reaction. It’s like nothing I’ve ever come across. It’s so flattering and I am really excited about being here. Thank you so much.”
A witness overheard the Scottish break-out superstar equate the experience to Beatles-mania as she was given a police escort out of the building and to her five-star hotel. We hear that Susan wanted to take in as much sightseeing as possible before performing on Wednesday's finale of America's Got Talent.
Activities are to include a trip to Disneyland and an audience with mega fans Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.
It's going to be one exciting week for this lass. Hope she can handle it!

Of course she can handle it. Everyone knows by now, or should do, that the thing Susan found hard to handle were the vicious attacks months back by a certain segment of the British press. That is old news and a concern that has become a moot point.
Her cover of Wild Horses is phenomenal, she is being treated like the star she is, she now has the protection she should have had before and she is on her way. Miss Susan Margaret Boyle is here to stay and how blessed we are that she is.
Sorry, but after reading some of the comments, I feel compelled to ask a few questions.
1. If you do not like Miss Boyle, why do you even bother to read about her.
2. What purpose does it serve you to be crude or vicious about a woman who is simply following her dream.
3. If you were to read some of the things that have been written on this site about your sister or you mother, how would it make you feel.
In truth, you sound rather like naughty children who get a kick out of writing dirty words on the bathroom walls. You probably are really better than that, but that is sure how you come off. Please try to find something you do enjoy and about which you can be positive and I promise you will be happier for it.
I'm actually in her corner. Wouldn't really be my style of entertainer but I think she does have a really good voice, and I really liked the Stones cover, although it does seem like a strange choice for a first single..whatever… I got no problem with, I wish her luck. There are too many no-talent asses in the business to go after Susan who can sing really well.
Glad susan boyle was so welcomed to usa- she deserves some nice response - she is bravely pursuing her dream and she has left her small village to venture out in this big, big world- she has a wondrful story to tell and it is still unfolding- she is a very intelligent and mannered lady- one to be respected for her character as well as her beautiful voice with her special gift of stirring the soul.
