Former Survivor Winner's Cancer Returns

The winner of Survivor: Africa in 2002, Ethan Zohn has announced that after an intense treatment of chemotherapy his cancer has unfortunately returned.
So sad.
Zohn was diagnosed with a rare form of Hodgkin's disease in April and will now undergo a new form of treatment which will conclude with a stem cell transplant.
Although he has a long battle to recovery ahead of him, Zohn and his family remain positive.
Says Zohn, "Whatever things are thrown at you, you've got to battle through with a smile on your face and the important people in your life around you."
That's a great attitude, Ethan! We wish you a speedy recovery!

My heart and prayers go out to him and his family! I have been battling the same disease for 3 years now and just finished my 2nd transplant, it's tough, but you can through it.
That is so sad. I feel bad for his gf, Jenna, who has already lost her mom to cancer. I wish Ethan a complete recovery.
I was really saddened when I read about this on people.com. Seems like a really nice guy. I hope he's going to be okay.

Jeez pervez, shouldn't his insurance company later deny coverage because of pre-existing conditions? Is this luck or money?

Ugh!! I hate this …I don't wish harm on anyone but why is it all the good people get the crap in life?? I will be praying for him that is for certain!! If anyone can beat this he can, after all he has already proven that he is a survivor.

I encourage everyone to sign up for the National Bone Marrow Registry. I signed up in 1991 and this April was able to donate prephial blood cells or stem cells to help someone fight Leukemia. It was a easy process and your gift can save a life.
