Indiana Jones And The Journey To The Retirement Home

As the 67-year old actor accepted his lifetime achievement award at the Deauville Film Festival this past week, Harrison Ford was eager to discuss his next project - Indiana Jones 5!

Yikes!

We envision it will center around his need to find the ancient, mythical Social Security check!

"The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form," divulged Ford. "Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I'll be very happy to put the costume on again."

We hope it fits!

Since last year's sucktacular continuation of the franchise, we thought Harrison would give up on the action hero life for a more senior citizen calmly paced existence, but that is far from true.

Maybe it's time he steps aside for a more Sean Connery type of role! Everyone needs a wise elder!

Will U see Indy 5?!

Sure, sucktacular… Here we go again, with Perez who never checks his facts: the fourth Indiana Jones movie grossed worldwide $786,636,033 (with a $100,137,835 opening week-end. It wasn't a very good movie, but hell! That's nearly a billion dollar worldwide!

  14. 14

I have a huge amount of respect for Harrison. He's the president of the EAA Young Eagles program and does so much to help that program. He is a class act. :) So, yep, I would go see Indy 5 to support his work.

  15. 15

I'd rather see him in a "Blade Runner 2" than a "Indiana Jones 5".

  16. 16

Yup, love it! Never tire of Harrison Ford. Perez, you're an asshole with no talent. Eat that, huh?

  17. 17

    Re: Obnoxious_Joe – I agree with you 100 percent!

Indy 4 wasn't that bad, it had it's moments. I'd put it on par with the temple of doom. I will definitely go see Indy 5 if and when it hits the big screen.

  20. 20

NOT ONLY YES, BUT HELLZ YEAH!!! Indiana Jones isn't just a movie, but it's a journey! And it's a journey that I would ONLY take with Harrison Ford. Anyone else - I wouldn't bother going to see it. SO KEEP THAT IN MIND STEVEN & GEORGE!!! NO HARRISON, NO MOVIE!!!

  22. 22

Maybe it's time that Porkez shut the fuck up!
Harrison is a great actor, many people will see whatever he does.
    PENDEJO

  23. 23

  24. 24

Of course we'll all see it! It's Indiana Jones, BITCH! And Harrison can be my daddy anytime! :D You wish you looked that good at that age!

  25. 25

is shia going 2 be there??????? i'll watch if he's in that movie :)

  26. 26

At the rate at which Shia is losing his hair, it will be difficult to tell who is supposed to be the old one. Actually, that should a cool seen like the 'melting Nazi' from the first one. They just need to do time lapse photography on Shia's scalp and throw in some plot line about radiation exposure or something.

  27. 27

    Yes.

  28. 28

Re: LizardKinG – No bitch, fuck you. And your constant negativity towards EVERYTHING.

The last one was terrible. I love the series, but it's nothing without Sean Connery.

  33. 33

I can't wait!!! I loved #4 - the haters just don't understand what Lucas & Spielberg were trying to do.

  34. 34

there's a south park episode, when somebody watch indiana jones 4, they have visions about lucas and spielberg rape indy several times…and now again…omg

  35. 35

We are going to see this one! Hopefully you like it better than the last…lol

  36. 36

    THE NEW TITLE…

    INDIANA JONES
    and his
    HIP SURGERY:
    ROCKIN THEM NEW BONES!

  37. 37

    I would see Indy 57

  38. 38

Who the fuck cares how old he is? He JUST proved last year that he can still do it. The whole age-ist attitude in this society needs to DIE- why should life's adventures stop just because you have X amount of trips around the sun? Perez…the man is 67, and still in better shape than your ass-guarantee it. The real question is, why are you less than half his age and he'd still kick your ass? Now THAT is sad. I, for one, will see it (though honestly, I doubt Spielberg and Lucas will get anything done fast enough for Harrison to agree to it). I just would really hope they'd stay far, FAR away from CGI, ground squirrels, and flying refrigerators and lose the entourage- Indy works best alone or with ONE side-kick. We don't need 6 others along for the ride.

  39. 39

For those of you who didn't notice that he did his role just fine at 66…let me point something out: YOU at 67 is NOT the same thing as Harrison at 67, or me at 67. Just because you'll be a withered old dust bag with no spark left in you at 67 does NOT mean other people won't be in much better shape. Age is meaningless- it's the body and how it's cared for that matters. So cute how most of the people trying to use the 'too old' card….are pathetically weak and lethargic compared to people like Harrison who actually stay in shape in their 60's. Yeah, that's right- people would rather look at a 67 year old man swinging from a whip than your pudgy, marshmallow asses. That said….if they try to have ANYONE but Harrison as the lead, the film. will. FAIL.

I love Harrison Ford but if they do another I sincerely hope they keep Lucas from destroying another script. I was supremely let down by the last one.
