Kanye Apologizes: Round 2!
Kanye West seems to think that if he continually apologizes for what he did last night at the VMAs, that will in some way make up for it.
It might, if he didn't sound like someone younger than Taylor Swift in his apologies!
Kanye has just released another apology via his blog and let us say, it is just as horrendous as the first one , but at least it's shorter. Says Kanye:
I feel like Ben Stiller in Meet the Parents when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave… That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry."
First of all, even Ben Stiller doesn't want to be associated with you in any capacity right now after last night. Second, what are you, 11? Who uses an example from a frat pack comedy movie in a sincere apology!!

It's hard to imagine that he thought it would be okay to tell everyone at an awards ceremony that the person receiving an award wasn't good enough to win. He must be high. I don't think an apology is good enough. He needs a time machine, in my opinion. That's just a really mean spirited thing to do. Everyone has different taste in music and apparently someone thinks Taylor Swift is worthy of winning.
Just because it's now not in all caps now doesn't mean it makes it a legit apology. Stop acting like a baby and take a good long look in the mirror.

Just because a person is rich and famous does not mean that they're ungrateful and immature for having personal issues. Kanye West is a human like any of the people calling him a "douche," the only difference between you and him is that when he does something stupid, a lot more people get to see it. I'd be willing to bet money that none of you people who are being so hateful and unforgiving would ever treat anyone you know personally the way you are treating him now. He admitted on Leno tonight that he's got issues, which is not news to anyone, but I think that seeing him admit it is a step in the right direction. I love his music, I love his artistic talent, and though I by no means think that his actions were acceptable, I don't think they justify hating him and calling him the scum of the earth and all kinds of ridiculous things. Saying such intense and malicious things about him is ironic, considering you're angry with him for getting too worked up over something that, at the end of the day, is not that big of a deal. He apologized and says he's going to try and get over his personal problems. You should all take his advice and get the fuck over yours.

Before we all judge the guy, we should stop and think about this: the guy went out, got drunk and in the heat of the moment made a complete prat of himself, whilst upsetting someone else. I don't know about you lot, but I've done that on more than one occasion myself, though I don't (fortunately) have cameras around to record it for future prosperity. He didn't throw a drink over Taylor or punch her, she got her moment and a standing ovation, so it could have been a lot worse. He knows he's screwed up and we have to allow people to make mistakes, after all isn't that what we want for ourselves? He clearly needs to take stock of his life and career and he acknowledges that and there are worse things happening in the world today, time to draw a line under the unpleasant incident. And well done Taylor, she handled the whole thing with more dignity than I ever could!
