I'm sure she has more than enough money to set her children up nicely for the future. She has 8 children. EIGHT.
She didn't ask for 8 children.
She just asked for A child. Fertility treatments she required, due to a Poly cystic disease, caused her to have a set of twins, which is fine, but then a set of sextuplets.
Kate and Jon were not being irresponsible, when they had 8 children, it just happened.
Due to their catholic faith, they chose to carry and deliver all 8 children, despite the incredible risk to Kate's life.
How exactly does anyone expect a RN and a computer tech to provide for 8 children?
It's impossible.
A reality TV show is just about the only way. And what are the chances of being offered a reality show? Of course they snapped up the opportunity.
She's not whoring out "deets" about her and her children's lives, she's providing them a livelihood.
It's about being in a rock and a hard place. The selfish choice would be to deny her children the life and education they could have. The children aren't exploited, they are brought on great, fun, often educational trips and adventures.

Nurses make more money than almost any other profession, and if that Dilley family raised their kids on one income, then J&K should do the same. The Dilleys moved to a SMALLER house they could afford, aand gave up things like facelifts, boob jobs and tummy tucks and hair transplants. Get real - a lot of people have 8 kids, and they do just fine. I do not feel sorry for these people. In fact, they make me sick, especially Kate.
