Bobby Brown dishes out his side of the story about his rocky relationship with diva Whitney Houston on his VH1 Behind the Music special airing tonight.

On their marriage being misunderstood:
"I think we corrupted each other. I don't think she hurt me or I hurt her. I just think we had a 14-year marriage that had its ups and downs and not many people understood it."On his cocaine usage and why he turned to drugs:
"I used an awful lot you know and I can't take that back. It's a powerful drug. I think I was bored. I had just gotten married and things weren't right. Unfortunately, I turned to alcohol and drugs."
On Whitney's interview with Oprah Winfrey:
"If there's something that she says that is untrue or disrespectful then I'll deal with that with her."
Hmmm. He actually sounds pretty tame and, dare we say, honest about everything?
We totally thought he was gonna bring the dramz with some crazy Whitney stories!

I saw interviews with her before she was even dating him. She was so desperate to not be seen as her goody goody image. She was always saying "I'm NOT like that girl, I'm tough etc…" ok Whitney, you proved it too us. You weren't that girl. Happy now? Your life would have been much better if, instead of trying to prove how ghetto and street you really were, you actually tried to be more like the woman the public thought you were. That woman would still have all her teeth, wouldn't have to be in recovery and would probably never had the career drought you had.

Um no, it sounds like he isn't being a publicity whore and won't deal with it in public.
Bobby sounds lame like he doesn't really have anything bad to say about her and he doesn't have an excuse for the way he treated her. I watched her interview with Oprah and she sang well, not the same but now she seems honest and I am a fan.
At least he's being honest and not blaming others for his drug use getting the better of him. Spitney sounded like a lying brain fried fool on Oprah going for the public sympathy vote.
Bobby just let it go. Move on with the next whore, and use a CONDOM. No more rugrats that I have to end up paying for.

I believe Whitney Houston is a manipulative, lying junkie who found a forum through the ever gullible Oprah Winfrey. Oprah will listen to and empathize with any story that involves the hardships of the black woman. Oprah loves to hear stories that she can identify with. I'm bored to death with it and stopped watching her years ago. I had the unpleasant experience of sharing a lounge with Ms. Diva Houston at YVR airport…. in a nutshell… she's is a horrendous BITCH who orders everyone around and looks down her nose at EVERYONE….including her own people. I think BOTH Whitney and Bobby are to blame for their awful relationship. She's trying to paint herself as the hard done by half, when she gave BIRTH to their daughter and above all as a mother should have protected that child from such ugliness. Lets face it, Whitney was the one with the $$ in that union, so could have walked at any time.

He did that show so that everybody would know that he didn’t make that bitch crazy, she was already crazy and the drugs didn’t help. Yes Bobby was an addict, but she was just as much as an addict as she was. The episode when she locked their daughter out of the hotel room when he just got out of jail so they could have some sex! First off-U date a jailbird, U have issues that go deeper than drugs. But to lock Ur child out and IGNORE her banging on the door is a sign of crazy. What about the episode when they were in Harrods of London and she just started to sing and dance because she felt like it. No it was that crack telling her to do that.

Bobby is a douche! I'm glad Whitney got rid of him. I hope she makes the great comeback I know she's capable of. She has a great voice. I'm happy her family stood by her and helped get her back to where she should be. I wish her the best.

There is NO way that a man will come out the sympathetic one in a case like this. The best thing he could do is let it alone, and go do better for himself. If she's not being truthful, it will come out. If her denigration of him is wrong, it will come back to haunt him. The majority of folks that frequent sites like this don't WANT him to be right, so they will never allow him to be. Whitney is the bigger star and a gay icon, so media coverage will always be slanted in her favor, especially on sites like this that are so female-driven…PEACE.
