Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have entered the Guinness World Records book as the highest grossing lead actors of the decade.
Thanks to the wild success of the Harry Potter films, the young stars were able to rake in a hefty sum in the last 10 years.
And it'll probably suprise you to learn though that it's actually Emma who came ahead in the bank, bringing in $753.7 million last year while Daniel only brought in $558 million.
Somehow, she edged ahead another $200 million doing the kid's flick The Tale of Despereaux. She didn't even have to really do much. Just talk into a microphone.
Hope the kids at Brown don't get wind of this. Emma will be footing the bill every time they go out. Or maybe she is a cheap muggle!

hahaha…believe me…they DESERVE it a whole helluva lot more than those idiots in Twilight! Every one of the HP movies is fantastically done with great actors involved. Twilight doesn't come close with any of them. HP forever! (btw, love the twi books, just not the movies)

Re: aprilrose23 – I will have to politely disagree with you. I read both series of books and while HP is my fave, I liked the twilight books as well. My main problem is the over hype that has been associated with Twi. The movie was also extremely bad with overacting and underacting. Patz is so unbelievably bad as Edward it actually makes me sad. I wont be contributing to any of the profits for her movies, but I did enjoy Stephanie's books. They are both completely different types of reads as well so they can't really be compared. But we are all entitled to our own opinion.

The article noted that the two young actors made the Guinness World Records book because their films earned billions of dollars at the box office. “Radcliffe’s films earn an average of $558 million, while Watson is ahead of $753.7 million as last year she also starred in The Tale of Despereaux, a children’s animation in which she voiced a princess.”
But “Scoop” Hilton took it to mean that they – the actors – earned that amount of money. He wrote, “it’ll probably suprise (sic) you to learn though that it’s actually Emma who came ahead in the bank, bringing in $753.7 million last year while Daniel only brought in $558 million.” He then added, “Hope the kids at Brown don’t get wind of this.
