Is Whitney Drug Free?
The answer is yes, but not without problems.
Whitney Houston continues her in-depth interview with Oprah today as she talks about how she is overcoming her need for drugs. She explains that she "prays" the temptation away, no matter how long it takes.
She also talks about her tumultuous marriage and how she was able to finally walk away from it.
Whitney refers to herself as a "soldier girl", but it took her own little girl, Bobbi Kristina Brown, to convince her it was time to leave Bobby Brown.
Whitney reveals what Bobbi Kristina said to her. "She said, 'You don't deserve that and neither do I.'"
The girl surely has the strength of her mama, who said that "words can't explain how proud" she is of her daughter.
Lots of more profound insight into Whitney's world will surely be revealed today.

I watched. I teared up. So touching, honest, INSPIRATONAL. Whitney shows us we all have a strong inner strength. She sounded AWESOME when she sang!! (I wish P would post that clip).
Oprah…would interrupt Whitney sometimes which was annoying and her style of psychologist interviewing was a bit much too. Whitney shined though. So glad she is back!
My God…I hate Oprah with a passion and I don't usually watch her, but I made an exception for this interview. Whitney's da bomb, she always has been. I especially loved the part at the end with the audience. The look on her face when they talked about what Bobby would think about the interview!!! PRICELESS!! Someone needs to make a gif of that face, like, now!
Her daughter was adorable, the way she spoke about her mother. What a mature young lady she seems to be.
Anyway, I'd go buy Whitney's album in support but I already picked it up a couple of days ago…Good stuff! Y'all go out and buy it, too!
Being a drug addict is an ongoing, 24-7, the rest of your life battle so of course Whitney will struggle. An addiction is a disease. Your always tempted especially when life is the most stressful At least she got the help she needed and finally broke away from that loser so I give her alot of credit.
Re: mehart2001 – To the person that said she acs like she is still on drugs…..well sometimes when a junkie takes drugs for a LONG period of time and ALOT of drugs, their actions, speech , movements change permanently. Whitney has changed drastically in everyway since she started taking drugs heavily. I believe she is drug free but may be sadly only a "moment away" from starting again if she is not very careful.
She had to be on drugs to let him pull a turd out of her ass on national TV!! Wonder if O will ask her about that!!?? Ha ha ha ha ha

Its a miracle she's still alive after the stuff she's done. She was the greatest female vocalist of all time, I'm glad to see she's back. I don't know what she sounded like on Oprah live but on cd she's still better than just about any female singer out there.

why do u say she is strong? strong people do not go on hard core drugs for over 10 years. strong people do not subject their child to that. strong people do not stay in unhealthy relationships for as many years as she did. if anything, she is a very WEAK person. she had way more at her disposal and way more support than the common person yet she still CHOSE to lead her life the way she did. shes disgusting.
