Whoopi Reflects On Patrick Swayze

He was a man loved by all!
In honor of his recent passing, Whoopi Goldberg adoringly remembers her Ghost costar, Patrick Swayze.
She states:
"Patrick was a really good man, a funny man and one to whom I owe much that I can't ever repay. I believe in Ghost's message, so he'll always be near."
The film was some of Swayze's finest work and Goldberg earned an Academy Award for her role in it.
No doubt, due to playing opposite Patrick's stellar performance.
He will be greatly missed!

Ghost was a great film RIP Patrick
Thanks Perez, I was hoping to read a comment by Whoopi about Patrick. She has said previously in an interview before he died that he was the reason she won the part in "Ghost", that he fought hard for her to be cast. As a teenager in the 80's, I remember Patrick Swayze for being in the most popular movies. He didn't seem to get the industry recognition but he got the work and the fans stayed with him. Nobody put Patrick in the corner.

Such a talent this guy had. Hes at rest now, he fought bravely. He deserves respect. And if anything should happen, we need to live life and fight for it. R.I.P Patrick!!!
I just watched a clip of Dirty Dancing. I was crying my eyes out. I think I have watched all his movies and some of them many times over. He had a show called the Beast last season and although he was sick you couldn't tell. He hid it well. what a professional and a fighter to the end. He will be greatly missed. R.I.P

Goosebumps alert!!! Without ever having met Patrick, Woopy's and Jennifer Grey's descriptions of him seem to reflect my impression of him exactly! That means he was 100% real, no games, no bullshit! Patrick and his wife seemed to be the perfect match which is probably why he was able to fight and hang in there so much longer than the doctors predicted. A true fighter who proves that you should never give up!!! Mind over matter, baby! I'm very very sad but also glad that he is finally relieved of what I can only imagine to be excruciating pain! You'll never be forgotten, Patrick! You'll always be my Dirty Dancing childhood hero!

I think that I had watched their movie *Ghost* so many gazillions times lol! And was never ever got bored with it…bec. this 2 characters has so much intense connections to each other! Probably , without Whoopi on it….Demi Moore couldn't sell the whole thing in getting so much ratings and $$$$$$$$$$$! Oh well…..it is sad…but life goes on…he choses his own bed…smoking….alcohol…so he quitely did bestowed it upon himself . FYI! your body will let you know if it's you need to stop ! But I guess, even he was still getting chemo's back then…he's still smokin ……….psyched!
