Burt Reynolds Enters Rehab!

Poor guy!
The man with the infamous mustache, Burt Reynolds, has checked into rehab to treat his addiction to prescription meds!
His manager released the following statement:
"After a recent back surgery, Mr. Reynolds felt like he was going through hell and after a while, realized he was a prisoner of prescription pain pills. He checked himself into rehab in order to regain control of his life. Mr. Reynolds hopes his story will help others in a similar situation. He hopes they will not try to solve the problem by themselves, but realize that sometimes it is too tough to do on their own and they should seek help, as he did."
At 73-years-old, we're glad he's taking care of himself before it's too late!

Love the man with the 'stache !!!! he's 73!!!! and I'd still consider taking a ride on it…LOL
Damn he looks waxy! You sure this isn't the wax image of Burt Reynolds?
Dear; mario's ghost writter. Go F*ck yourself !!
its too late! - you mean, its never too late for rehab.
He's been addicted to pills for decades.
Why do stars announce they are entering rehab? WTF
good luck burt
Get well Burt! Love your movies!!!
don't be such jealous haters!!! ok!!!
Re: Canadiana* – hahahahaha!
VICODEN AND PERCOCETSHOULD BE DISCONTINUED!PLEASE PEOPLE! HOW MANY PEOPLE MUST GET FUCKED UP ON THESE DRUGS BEFORE ITS DONE!
Shit for a minute there I thought I was looking at the Madame Tussuands Wax Museum Burt Reynolds, wtf happen to him
lol it's funny that he checks into rehab now. I guess after a LIFETIME of drugs and booze abuse it's important to finally get help. Cause you want to stop the problem before permanent damage is done… riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Good luck with that.
Re: herbert61 – they do not have to be discontinued, the drs have to know how to prescribe them. I was in a Near Fatal Accident over 10 years ago. had a lacerated liver and a Crushed Rib Cage. Was in the hospital for almost a month. I was originally on morphine, but I was out of it and my collapse lung was not inflating. I was put on an epidural for the pain for about 2-3 weeks. after that, right before I was to go home, I had to have it taken out, severe pain, so I was put on percocet. As soon as I went on percocet, I was on a plan to be taken off the percocet. Within a month, I was off it, on codeine for the pain or the tylenol for the pain. Yes, I was still in pain and monitored, but the drs. did not want me addicted to the medicine. Why wasn't mr. reynolds watched better, on a reduction schedule? yes, he would still be in pain, but reduce the medicine. Now he is in rehab. That is why there are pain management centers. I am in that now, for another injury-instead of increasing meds, they look for other treatments, other answers, test urine for addition drugs. but celebrities are special
Good God!! He looks NOTHING like he did when he was a big star!! Talk about bad plastic surgey!! He must have used the same plastic surgeon that Kenny Rogers used! Ugh!! Why do people do this? He is 73! It is not like he is acting and in the public eye. Pathetic. Now these old former stars are jumping on the MJ death bandwagon, saying they are addicted to prescription drugs and are going into rehab, in order to stay relevant (and I am talking to you Melanie Griffin!) and grab hold of the spotlight. Who gives a shit about Burt Reynolds?
He actually went to Florida State University, FSU, where I am currently a student. Tallahassee was kinda like his hometown, he played college football here, and we have a dorm hall named after him.
He looks like a cadaver.
Is his head growing or toupee shrinking?
Yea, sure, 'n I got some beach property in Arizona to sell ya. At 73, Mr. Reynolds should get his shit together, or just keep on druggin…enjoy himself & his perscription drugs & alcohol…after all, he doesn't have tht much time left anyway….i
i'll be sure to let my great great great grandmother know.
Why do stars get addicted to painkillers. If I was a star with loads of money I would chose E, coke or any other upper!
To think, I trust Reynolds to give me directions to. I have him on my GPS. It's from navtones. They have some fu#ked up stars on their website. I got Gary Busey as a voice too. Now theirs a guy who doesn't need any drugs.
God, that hairline gives me the heebie jeebies. And he definitely does look waxy. Burt, cut back on the plastic surgery.
If nothing else the guy is the poster boy for survivers!!
Get well Burt! Better now than later. Fight those demons!
WHAT IS IT WITH THESE SO CALLED CELEBRITIES. ANY PROBLEM AND THEY RUN TO REHAB.. REHAB MUST BE REAL FUN IF THEY KEEP GOING BACK… WAIT I'VE GOT A HEADACHE COMING UP, I THINK I MIGHT GO & CHECK INTO REHAB
IS HE MISTAKING OLD PEOPLE'S HOME FOR REHAB?
Awww I love Burt! The Bandit kicks ass!
I'm glad he's admitting he needs help… too bad other celebrities didn't before it killed them…I've been addicted to pain killers.. it SUCKS.. you feel like you are stuck in a vicious cycle that just can't stop
He should have gone in 1978…
Why now? Let the man party like it's 2099….
I guess rehab was the last thing on his Bucket List!
It must be a celeb or money thing. I broken a limb, was in severe pain for weeks, and had to beg for percocet. So what special give-em-all-the-pain-drugs-they-want health plan are people like Burt on?? Plus, frankly, if I were 73 and able to get my hands on pain killers, I'd be a pig in shit!!
good for him but did he have to announce it
aww hope he's okay, but he's definitely not 73. he's older than 80. my grandma dated him 100 years ago.
Too bad he's not addicted to a prescription for cyanide.
HEY MON, SHOULDA JUS SMOKED DA WEED….HEH, HEH.
Tough to do @ that age, more risky withdrawal. Looks pretty strappin'for 73.
I'm sure with the DEA cracking down (no pun intended) on pharmacies, unwarranted prescriptions from quack doctors and anything else celebrities are doing which I'm sure most of them are, so you will see a lot of them taking that route. Can you imagine all those Hollywood actors that are used to getting all their pain meds all of a sudden not being able to get them easily? Sounds like rehab is the only option they will have now.
