Exciting news for Colbert and music fans!

Starting Wednesday (tonight!), The Colbert Report, will be streaming FULL ALBUMS of the show's musical guests on ColbertNation.com

Following tonight's performance by the Flaming Lips, their new album "Embryonic" set to release October 13th, will be available to stream until Monday.

This is the first time the band has ever pre-leased an entire album digitally.

Sounds like a great idea to us!

…great idea.Perez, have you ever suffered from flaming lips?

Hey, music industry wannabe Perez… They're not making the album available digitally, they're streaming it. If you don't know the difference, maybe you should stick to cornball copy-and-paste journalism and leave music to the big boys.
