Coldplay In The Clear, Lawsuit Dismissed
Earlier this year, the boys of Coldplay found themselves in a sticky situation when guitarist Joe Satriani accused Chris Martin and the band of plagiarizing his song and creating Viva La Vida.
Yesterday, victory was sweet and perhaps costly for Chris and Co. as a judge announced the lawsuit was dismissed "upon stipulation", which suggests that they settled the matter out-of-court.
How much did that guy's silence cost you, Chris?

Joe Satriani is one of the best guitar players in the world, if not THEE best so i wouldnt be suprised if ppl stole his stuff coz they cant come up with good stuff by themselves

I too like Coldplay, however, if you listen to Joe Satriani's 2004 recording of " If I Could Fly " it is obvious why he sued them.
