Megan Fox's Dark Past: She Used To Cut Herself

It's always hard to read about a celebrity that has gone through such dark times, especially when they have so much going for them now.
Such is the case with the beautiful Megan Fox who opened up about her dark days to Rolling Stone magazine.
When she was asked about ever having an eating disorder, Megan wouldn't really say, stating that she didn't want to talk about it because if she did she would be "taking on a role-model status, and I’d have to choose my words very carefully, and I’d have to make sure I reveal it in a specific way, and I don’t want to do it."
What she did admit to was cutting herself during her teenage years:
"Yeah, but I don't want to elaborate. I would never call myself a cutter. Girls go through different phases when they’re growing up, when they’re miserable and do different things, whether it’s an eating disorder or they dabble in cutting."

When I read about her temper and how she feels so angry sometimes the first thing that came to mind was 'she's Borderline' but I wasn't sure if she was the type to ever engage in self harming behavior. Now, I wouldn't be surprised if she has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder; she's like the poster child for it.

You know she takes a lot of flak from everyone on her answers, but at least she was smart in how she answered those questions. She was right in that anything she said would be viewed in a way to put upon her the role model status. She just answers the questions she is asked. You can't blame her for that. At least she was honest and didn't go into details to make it look like she was aiming for attention. I like her and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I don't take everything she says as word as I believe she does just say shit to shock people. You have to take her with a grain of salt people. Too many take her way too seriously…hence all the hate.

No stripper has come out and said they had a relationship with her. She's been with Brian A. Green since 18, when did she have a relationship with this stripper.

The words "I used to cut myself, I was in rehab, I used to binge/purge/starve or do this and that" are only words. Know what? So did many of us. It's okay to admit it but if you REALLY want to be a "role model" why not get into the community and make it work for a better cause by speaking with those who are most vunerable. Rather than using it for publicity about what you conquered, DO something to help others conquer these demons. A young woman with her abilities, looks and fan base could make an impact if she put her eggs in the right basket. Just a thought!
