The first stage of grief is denial - but, this is ridiculous!
Jessica Simpson cannot admit that her missing dog Daisy is gone, considering she was last seen in the mouth of a coyote!
The singer has been in touch with FindToto.com, a dog-finding service that calls all of Jessica's closest neighbors to alert them of her "situation."
And although the "odds are against" her, a source claims that Jess is still praying for the Malti-Poo's safe return, especially because Daisy runs fast!
REALLY?!
We love dogs and wish that her pooch was okay, but unless FindToto.com kills wild coyotes, it's looking grim!

first of all, how did a coyote even get close to her dog. I know i have my dogs on a leashes when they are not inside the house. Secondly why did she wait so long to actively search for the dog? Hello it was taken by a Coyote, she should have called Animal control Immediately. Third, Hopefully if her pup did happen to get away (and there's a small chance of that happening) she learns not to let her dog go unwatched.

I am sick for her. Say what you want, if you have pets you love and somehting horrible like that happens, you would feel the same way, desperately clinging to some hope that you will be reunited. Poor Jessica and poor puppy. I want to know though why she was walking the dog without a leash (obviously or the coyote would not have gotten away so fast) near where coyotes live. Clearly this did not happen on a city street. Still, I would tell her to go to the Rainbow Bridge website if it comes to that to share her grief.

WOW I can't believe how nasty people are getting about this. There IS a chance - yes, a slim one - that MAYBE her dog got away and has been taken in by a stranger or is wandering around terrified. My dog went missing and turned up a week later, after someone saw my poster. The person had my dog the whole time! I had give up hope by that time. If this is what Jess needs to do right now then she should just do it. I am sure before long she will realise hope is lost and get some closure.

I am not a huge fan of Jess, but I feel so sorry for her. It is the toughest thing to lose and animal, and even tougher when they are not old or sick. It makes me sick to my stomach that she saw her dog get taken away. And, unfortunately, I agree that Daisy is gone, but I applaud her effort to keep looking. With all the development, wild animals are forced from their natural habitats into urban areas and feed on domestic animals who are kept outside. I have heard of it happening a lot, so just be careful and protect your pets!
