It truly is a sensation!

True Blood scored some awesome ratings for their season finale on Sunday.

The numbers show that 5.1 million viewers tuned in for their favorite bloodsuckers, which is double the audience from last year (2.5 million viewers).

Will it go even bigger next season? Or will vampire fever have finally died out by then?

      Yeah, they got great numbers but it was such a let down. Def my LEAST fav episode of the season.

      i think the show will only get bigger.. because the books are great and the show is great and the cast is great.. its a win-combination, can hardly go wrong…
      i cant wait for the next season, it'll take so long though! not fair!

      Gotta say I was alittle disappointed. The finale started off with such promise, but got really boring….. and barely any Eric. WTF?

      I am such a fan of True Blood but the finale really "sucked" …lol…no seriously…the whole story line just took a weird turn with maryanne and I hated this seasons jason stackhouse and the whole light of day institute act…i think last season was better…..but for sure i will still be watching

      Deborah Ann Woll who plays Jessica represents the eye candy for the women.
      Alexander Skarsgård who plays Eric represents the guys.
      Rumor has it that Perez Hilton and him were kicking it in the VIP section of a late night LA hotspot. I have the photos, but I'm just waiting for the highest bidder!

      I'm a huge True Blood fan, but yeah, the whole season's storyline got wrapped up in the first half of the finale, the last half was just dull. Here's hoping it picks back up next season.

      Got to say this my sister works for the series company and met some of the people. She also brought home a bottle of blood to drink. How cool!
      Yes, they will be around. Next time she goes to work with them guess who
      is going to follow? Yep! Sure am. I ask her to get me everything that has to do with the show. She is collecting. And we live in different states.

      I LOVE this show , just wished they did not wrap up the MaryAnn situtation so soon !! I agree that the bar would not have been open the NEXT day as the wierdo's under MA's spell tore up that place. Plus I imagine they would have felt like shit lol. whatever i LOVE THis show.

      I think the show is gritty and amazing. It's a lot more in depth and interesting than the other vampire series. I will DEFINITELY keep watching.

      There's ONE reason that True Blood is getting so HOT! And he is tall, blonde and Swedish - Alexander Skarsgård. The possibility of a Sookie/Eric relationship like the one in the books is why people are tuning in to watch the show. A lot of fans of the books who were not watching are finally tuning in because Eric is getting a lot more screen time. In the books Eric and Sookie are the main characters, NOT Bill, he's a schemer and not so nice in the books, Eric on the other hand is wonderful and ALWAYS there for Sookie. Alan Ball is FINALLY wising up!

      I love this show. I only have 2 beefs. One, if Jessica's hymen grows back instantly, why doesn't Eric's hair? Two, what is up with the clicking sound when the fangs go in and out? Stop that! Fangs would not sound like a switchblade in any way. In fact, if they did make any kind of noise it wouldn't be something from the 20th century. }:[

      Notice that that ratings really started picking up once Eric shed his clothes… I believe they should take that into consideration when filming the next season in a few months!

      BTW… I was really disappointed in the season finale. It was very blah and not the least bit exciting. Bill walked out. So what? Pfft.

      Even bigger! The 3rd book is when the series really gets going in my opinion! The witch war….Sookie and Eric hook up! I hope the show follows the book more closely, no more MaryAnne!!!
