   Being from Pennsylvania, I am proud of the eagles and the steelers. i love both teams. I do not like Michael Vick only because what he did to those poor dogs. It's disgusting. But he did do time in prison and hopefully learned his lesson. Being on a football team and actually playing won't let people forget what he did. Sad but let's just watch some football already. Sad for Hank tho. It's not right. Hank would of been great

   perez you dont know what you are talking about. Hank was let go because of Jeff Garcia being signed. Pluse Hank is not that great of a Wide out. Who cares anyway, if the eagles cut someone to make room for Vick so be it. He is a good football player. What he did was horrible but he paid his time and paid a lot of money also. So just relax and dont worry about sports.

   THIS IS NOT TRUE! Baskett got cut because he was not one of the better receivers on the team and they needed to sign a new quarterback (Jeff Garcia), because their starting quarterback got injured (Donovan Mcnabb).

   THIS STORY IS PARTIALLY MADE UP! Vick has been on the team…..

   AND they are signing a new QB so that Vick WON'T Start as the Eagles QB!

   I don't like the Eagles….but I don't want anyone making things up about them!

   When a player on a team is not that good, he usually gets cut. The Eagles have a good rookie wide receiver, theyve been trying to trade Baskett for a bit, noone wants him so they cut him….simple as that

   and he was cut to make room on the roster for Jeff Garcia, the team signed Michael Vick almost a month ago………….

    How many people that have posted here actually follow football? You say you want talent in Cincinnati, but I'm pretty sure you have one of the best WR in the league. Are you not happy with Ochocinco? That is besides the point. Vick is faster than Baskett, quicker than Baskett, he can throw further than Baskett, probably can jump higher, and is way more athletic than Baskett will ever be. How many people know that Vick was drafted by the Rockies when he was in HS, even though he hadn't played baseball since the 8th grade. It is because he is an amazing athlete. Everyone who says Vick is nothing compared to Baskett is using jaded judgment because of what he has done. Vick is one of the best athletes in the NFL, and nobody can take that away from him.

    He was actually not directly cut to sign Vick…he was cut to make room for quarterback Jeff Garcia…but Vick was also added to the 53 man roster yesterday as well. I still dont agree with it though.
