Even though the two just called off their engagement, Karina Smirnoff swears she's still friends with her ex/Dancing With The Stars cast-mate Maksim Chmerkovskiy!!
Yeah right!
"It's kind of easy to stay friends," says Smirnoff. "We were friends for 14 years, before anything else. It will always remain this way. It's not difficult. We both think the world of each other."
The DWTS star claims that "nothing has changed" and "everything is great."
And we don't buy it!
How are either of them supposed to move on with their lives while they're still the best of friends???
The two are still scheduled to perform together at Sunday night's Emmy awards - a routine which Karina calls "fun" and "energetic" with some "crazy moves."
Let's see how amicable they remain to each other after Sunday!
