Katie Takes Suri To A Beyonce Concert?!
Filed under: Beyonce > Katie Holmes > Suri Cruise
Katie Holmes, who just wrapped filming on Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, took 3-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, to Beyonce's concert in Australia on Tuesday night.
Instead of opting for a private box seat, Katie and Suri sat in a roped-off area in general admission, even smiling for photos with nearby fans!
But as soon as Beyonce began with "Crazy in Love", Suri was NOT having a good time anymore, keeping her hands over her little ears and putting her face into her mother's shoulder to block the flashing lights.
Awww! Shouldn't a toddler be in bed at that hour? Oh, right, Suri has an 11pm bed time!
They left after the song, but came back later for the rest of the show with Suri sporting some industrial earmuffs!
Seriously, though, who brings a 3-year-old to a Beyonce concert?

I would bring my 3 yr old to a show. What do you know about good parenting anyway you fat asshole?
1st.
what on earth! katie holmes is crazy…and i mean it literally.
Cool idea but, Suri's too young.
The child had earmuffs. I see nothing wrong with it, besides her teaching her kid to listen to crappy music at such a young age.
that would be my reaction. all beyawnce does is yell.
What a dummy. Concerts aren't for children. The music is so loud that it's ridiculous. The last concert i went to (Tech N9ne), the music was so loud that I could feel the sound waves pressing against my chest. My ears rang for 3 days straight.
You've been to a Beyonce concert haven't you Pumpkinhead? And you're not much older than that developmentally.
That's ridiculous! What a horrible inappropriate thing to do! It's because Katie doesn't have any friends to hang with.
A loving and caring mother who spends most of her time with her child but you wouldn't know that since your ass is not a parent!!! So she should have gotten those earmuffs in the beginning big deal it was a mistake just like you made a mistake by wearing a cheap ass pajama top!!!
i can not wait for this kids tell all haha
That's dumb. They got so much money to hire a nite time nanny!
WTF! WHOSE CRAZIER KATIE OR TOM
I don't see a point in taking kids to concerts. They don't know wtf is going on and they don't know what the songs are about. It's just a waste of money.
REALLY? a THREE year old to a Beyonce concert?
WTF!!? Katie , isn't this the same woman that had her kid on a bottle for a long time? comon' Katie nanies are not that expensive.
awww curi looks so cute
awww suri looks so cute
I agree it is very strange to bring a three-year old to a pop concert -not normal! How awful that she had to cover her ears and hide her face. Katie Holmes is an idiot.
Why shouldn't she go?
I don't think it's crazy.
I would totally take my kid to a concert why not!? And so what if she wants to spend all her time with her daughter??
Theres lots of little kids at Beyonce's concert, because unlike some artists her shows are A) Suitable for younger fans.. & B) She's worth the money you pay £50 for a 3 year old to go but you know that your all gonna enjoy it cuz she is the BEST!!
Re: marsbar – Haha! totally agree with you!
Re: Quemical – Tech N9ne puts on a fucking awesome show.
Not appropriate for 3 year olds however. But T9 is exceptionally LOUD. (earplugs work well dear)
Yeah a concert, ANY concert, is not a good idea for a 3 year old. Ruins their hearing for good!
That was a bad idea all around. What the kid doesn't like The Wiggles?
idiot. poor baby. she'll be deaf by 40
why not read her a bedtime story crackass
Wonder if Katie has any real friends other than the ones Tom makes her hang out with if she is bringing her 3 year to Beyonce.
in general concerts are very loud and could damage such a young persons hearing. I remember when I was a teen and I went to see the smiths with my older sister and we were up in the front close to the speakers and my hearing was shot to shit the next day. I had the time of my life though.
suri is a beautiful baby.
What a beautiful child!! Kate seems to spend lots of time with her which is great. She got earmuffs so I think it was fine for her to be there. It's not abuse to let your child be up at 11pm, she probably had a nap.
She's an idiot.
I took my niece to the circus, and it was so loud that 1/3 of the parents had to take their crying and covering-their-ears children home. Then I took her to see Tom Jones, and the same thing happened. They're just too young for that level of noise at that hour. My ears buzz after most any concert, and hearing damage is cumulative, so good earplugs are mandatory for me now.
damn 3 years old talk about a spoiled rotton little brat
I think someone has a CODEPENDECY PROBLEM!
She's a litte cutie!! I see no problem with taking her to the concert….as long as she has ear protection.
Why not? I was 6 months pregnant when my SO and I took our 4 year old to see Creed. She had earplugs in (the kind sailors wear in engineering compartments on ships in the Navy) and she had a great time, and still remembers going to this day!
She is the parent. She can do whatever the fuck she wants. At least she saw the problem and got earmuffs. mind your mother fucking business. get your own children. I don't really care for Tom but stars have enough trouble trying to have a normal life like a concert and they get ridiculed doing it. Maybe Suri likes Beyonce.
Perez, WTF do you know about raising kids?!
Katie is a first time parent, and Suri probably LOVES Beyonce's music at home.
She probably thought Suri would enjoy it, and at least she got her some earmuffs when she realized how loud it was. It was a mistake, which believe it or not PEOPLE MAKE. Even famous ones. It's not like she was driving a car with her kid on her lap, was it?
Re: Orangina – My kids can't stand the Wiggles, and I don't blame them.
I don't get what the big deal is in general regarding taking a child to a concert. Kids can pick up on rhythms and patterns in music at a very early age, and it's good for their brain development. Taking a tired kid without good ear protection that they wear through the entire show is a different story, though.
Obviously Not an over weight QUEER with colored hair and a BAD whoredrobe who are you to JUDGE you wold take ur NEW BORN to a Lady GAGA concert so knock it off
YEAH!!! who would take their kid to beyonce concert??? next time take her to LADY GAGA, babe
as long as they have ear muffs for the child, which she got, its not a problem, people bring their children to shows all the time. and its not a bad thing. Beyonce is a great performer.
When Beyonce hits those too-high notes, we all wanna hold our ears.
umm britney had her kids at her concert….you didnt say anything about that?
I see little kids at concerts ALL the time! I saw 5 year olds dressed up like Gwen Stefani at a No Doubt concert this summer and at the Blink 182 concert all of the band members had their kids playing on the side stage. Not that I agree with it, but this does not surprise me at all.
I took my 3 and 5 year old Beatlemaniacs to see Macca. They loved every second of it. I don't see any problem with it.
i've seen younger kids at "hard rock" concerts. hell, i've seen kids at both Ozzfest and Cruefest. good parents bring ear muffs for them, and usually the kids enjoy it.
so perez, shut the fuck up, cause you have NO SAY on how someone raises their child, cause you are NOT a parent yourself. so fuck off.
she needs help…badly!!!!!
What can you expect from scientologists? They left their common sense when they joined that cult.
KATE AND TOM I'M REALLY HAPPY FOR YOU, IMMA LET YOU FINISH BUT ANGELINA JOLIE AND BRAD PITT HAD ONE OF THE GREATEST CHILDREN OF ALL TIME, OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!
I have a three year old and that is totally STUPID! What a waste!
I would totally bring my 3year old to her concert! He loves to dance and sing to the… you should have put a ring on it song! Sorry, but Katie taking Suri wasn't a bad thing at all.
I Wouldn't Bring My 3 Year Old To A Show But I Don't See Nothing Wrong With It Really….
That bitch is mentally unstable and seems to make a lot of bad parenting decisions. But I can't say I blame her, I wouldn't want to go home to Tom either.
Where was missy TOM????????
… Or to any concert whatsoever!!!
…i wouldnt take my daughter to a concert.. mayb when they are older.. but it would just be too loud and too busy. you shouldnt be takign your child anywhere where they have to wear earmuffs….
Britney Spears was here in Tulsa Tuesday night and I would have taken my three year old if someone had given me tickets. I wouldn't BUY tickets to a concert for a three year old, but like I said, if I would have won two, that is who I would pick to go. She loves Britney. I know the content isn't that suitable for a three year old, but she doesnt know what "if you seek amy" means.
unless the concert is meant for kids then NO, concerts aren't for kids and i don't now what Katie was thinking. Suri has plenty of time to go to concerts like this when she is older. just becuz she had earmuffs later don't make it any better. late night she should be at home with momma reading her a story in bed.
EXCUSE me, but none of us will take advice from a childless pedophile like you , Mr. NAMBLA
Re: Cashmere Jay – LOL
I starting going to big concerts around that age… it's normal for parents who want to raise their children to love and respect music. Perez… stop talking about things you obviously know NOTHING about.
I have to say - its so evident that Katie is the main caretaker of Suri (unlike that Wretched Kate Gosselin).
-
Suri is absolutely at ease in her mother's arms in every photo I've seen, and you can see the connection between them.
-
Katie could easily have pawned her off on a nanny - but she didn't. Maybe Kate Gross-lin should take a cue and take care of HER own kids once in a while.
While it has been a PLEASURE not to see or hear from these alien worshippers for weeks now…….I must say, I'm not surprised she takes a 3 yr old to a concert like that - and WITHOUT earplugs!!!
Tom and Katie are all about themselves and that kid is only around to try and prop them up. If they really cared, you wouldn't see that kid without a coat in winter, up wayyyyy past bedtime, at concerts with no hearing protection, etc…..
a careless mother who wants publicity.. the bitch had tom cruise's baby isnt that enough?
I say No big deal! I think it's fine every once in a while!
am I insane or does that kid have dyed hair…and lipstick??
Doesn't Katie know she's the next Bjork? ^_^
Suri will be a musician, mark my words. my name is Orisha, and I have dreams that come true.
;-)
lmao omg who are you to juudgee other ppl'ss parenting skills.. when u have a kid than u can judgee but seriouslyy katie seems liike a cool mom lol
It's called "Mommy is nuts and looking for attention"
Let me share something with all you turds who don't know about child development, and think it was a good idea to bring a toddler to a rock concert, where music is routinely above 115 decibels: a child's hearing (the range of hearing, and the tesatura of what can be heard) is heightened, compared to an adult's. Suri was covering her ears because she was physically IN PAIN. It's NOT ok to bring a child to a rock concert. If you people would take your fat asses off your couch once in a while, and open a damn book, you might learn something about child development before you start spouting off ridiculous comments about how rock concerts are 'just fine' for children.
Probably all the same people who take their 3 year olds to the Springsteen and U2 shows.
A lonely person WITH NO ADULT FRIENDS takes their infant to a concert…
…
She has most likely permanantly damaged her childs hearing…
I used to make my children go into their rooms & close the doors when I wanted to turn the stereo all the way up to 11
I would never bring a 3 year old to an adult concert.
Re: hair-on-me – Bahahaha.
that is so wrong! i think you have to be at least 5 to be allowed inside a beyonce concert. awww, suri is seriously cute.
This is her daughter.. so blah to you! Ship I wish I could go see a beyonce concert…
Most kids that age LOVE music and dancing! She should have had earmuffs from the beginning though. What a great mom to let her kid experience fun things!
Re: lpycb42 – not me you dumb fuck
Oh I just love when someone without kids gives parenting advice. Stop criticizing people's parenting, asshole. You have no kids and don't shit about raising them. Nobody knows until they have them, and even then everyone parents differently. There is no Parenting Rule Book, fucktard. People can raise their kids how they see fit, including putting them to bed at *gasp!!* 11:00 or taking them to a concert - THE HORROR!!
How do you know that Suri wasn't wearing earplugs? Did anyone look into her ears to confirm? Right, the answer is no.
its time to hang with grown ups ok!
There is NOTHING wrong with taking children to see conserts!!! Common !!
Ha, ironically, sitting in a private box would be the ONLY appropriate way to take a 3-year-old to a concert!!!! One where you don't get the full sound blast. 11 pm bedtime? Big deal, that was me!! I always had that natural cycle of staying up late and sleeping in. My mom was grateful that I didn't wake her up much, although around 11 am she'd come into my room to check if I was still alive. lol Literally slept like a baby! And it's never caused me any harm at all!! Every person has a different rythm, people. And no she's not too young to have such a tendency! I knew from the beginning that I was not a morning person. ALWAYS loved the evening and night, and ALWAYS hated everything before noon. 25 years later, nothing has changed. So let her do her thing!! Except the concert thing, Katie!!
leave her alone perez
What to expect from a stupid woman who sold her soul to the devil? I hope someone locks her up in a zoo with the primates, where she belongs.
IAM SO SICK OF HEARING AND READING ABOUT SURI, I CANT FIGURE OUT WHY PEOPLE ACT LIKE SHE IS THE MOST AMAZING KID ON EARTH? SHE IS BARELY AVERAGE LOOKING AND SEEMS LIKE A TOTAL GEEK. ENOUGH ALREADY!
My daughter is the same age as Suri and she loves Beyonce. Every time a Beyonce song comes on the radio she sings along and dances. If I could afford it I'd love to take her to see her live.
suri looks stoned hah
Well, I wouldn't have done that.
That's ridiculous. Makes no sense at all to bring a child that young to a concert.
i actually can't stand parents with kids on movie theaters watching a PG-13 movie. the other night i went to a club and a man took his 2 yrs old kid and the kid was crying, come on, if you decide to be a parent you have to get a nanny or stop doing things you used to do. period.
you don't need to be a parent to have common sense.
The same kind of parent who takes an 8 year old and a 5 year old to a Green Day concert. Why is it okay if Brad Pitt takes his kids, but it's NOT okay if Katie takes Suri? Why the double standard? Who brings a FIVE YEAR OLD to a Green Day show?
I feel sorry for that poor kid
Ahhh, please leave here alone. She has enough of other problems.
And Gwyneth Paltrow took here daughter Apple to a Coldplay concert several years ago.
No one gave here a had time.
Her baby girl probably loves beyonce and Im sure she wanted to go. I think it's great! Whats the differnec in this then taking your child to a tractor pulls at 2 years old because he loves tractors. Get a grip. Youll be the only one leavin negative for this one.!
Honestly Perez sometimes your alright but would you stop with the parenting remarks…. You clearly don't know shit about shit.
Suri is so beautiful. She inherited the best of both of her parents, strange though how they seem to treat her as a peer and not a child.
They probably hit the bar afterwards..
