The Jackson Kids' HUGE Allowance

Legal documents were released today regarding the allowance that Katherine Jackson and Michael Jackson's children would be receiving while his estate is probated.
The documents states that the Estate assets "consist of real and personal property exceeding $500 million."
Though the amounts are subject to change, the four of them will be getting an allowance each month until the estate is probated, which could take 1 or 2 years.
The family allowance for Michael's kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket, is $60,000 per month and Katherine Jackson is cleaning up pretty well herself raking in $26,804 a month.
Wowza!
Sure beats the $10 weekly allowance most kids their age probably get!

i'm sure they would much rather have their father with them. so sad. i can't imagine what those kids are going through.
sadly money doesn't always buy happiness… but it sure as hell probably makes it a whole of up for a lot of things.

Good! These kids deserve it. They've been through so much. I truly hope that someone is managing it for them,who won't try to steal it. I also hope that the pap(smears) leave them alone so they can get on with their lives.

As for the Mrs. Jackson and the kids money: The man they called father and son earned every dime of that money and when he died he said he wanted the money to go to them. So, if that is what he is worth, that is what they get! Where else is it going to go! STOP HATING!

I agree…$26k per month doesn't replace their Daddy nor ease their grief. Those children will have a long road to recovery because Michael was not only their Daddy but also the only parent they ever knew. It's been made crystal clear what those kids thought of him and vise versa so I don't think their monthly "allowance" will bring them any happiness. It will just help to pay the bills while they stay with their Grandmother, trying to rebuild their shattered lives and hearts.

I agree with many others regarding the fact that his children would much rather have their father over money. Michael raised them to not be so into money and material things anyway. He taught them about giving back and not always wanting something in return. I'm also pretty sure that his kids won't be handed thousands of dollers. Their money is going to be put away for them to have for when they get older. Besides the "allowance" that they are being granted now, was never any money that they were handed over by their father anyway. Unlike other rich kids, I'm sure they aren't expecting to be given endless amounts of cash because that is not how they were raised. When Michael was a child getting $50,000 checks in the mail he said he would take his money and save it, or go buy candy and gum and give it away to other children.
