Paula Slams Ellen On Divas

In an attempt to add some much needed humor into the show, the producers of VH1 Divas thought it would be funny to have Paula Abdul come out dressed as the famed, dancing talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, that recently filled her vacant seat at the Idol judging table.
This is what happens when you give Abdrool a wig, a couple of drinks, and some time to kill on live television.
Watch as she only embarrasses herself and offers some advice to Ellen (above).
Overall, it's pretty damn weak!

This was NOT cool. She seems to be openly mocking Ellen which is something I doubt Ellen would ever do to her. If she is so above Idol and over them…..why all the references to the show? To remind yourself you once were relevant to it? Im glad I didn't waste my time on this show. I would have watched it had she not been hosting. She's not a diva in the good sense but rather a drama diva who believes she is more important than she is. Please…. Idol will survive without your stupid ass but I highly doubt you will survive (financially) without them. Stupid dumb bitch.

Paula isn't cool enough to make fun of Ellen. She just got up there and made herself look more retarded than I thought possible. It wasn't Ellen's fault Paula was so useless and lame on Idol that the producers felt the need to replace her. I am so looking forward to watching Ellen on that show. I haven't watched for several seasons because I couldn't stand her benign and idiot comments. Ellen will probably class it up! At least her clothes fit her and she isn't drunk most of the time.

No one knew any of those A-holes before the show….Simon who?…and the other ones who? We only knew Paula and that's why they asked her. Actually, I stopped looking at AI a long time ago. It's had it's run. Now, I definitely won't watch it again.
There are wonderful, talented, great Artists who have been out here honing their craft for years and suddenly some hick from Cudzoo, Mississippi win a talent show and touted as a big star… Bull Shit!!!!…some aren't even that good and they win. It's a popularity contest.
Only one I like is [Daughtry] and I don't even like rock music, but, he's really good AND he had been out there a while working and learning his craft.
ALSO, if I want to see Ellen I'll tune in to her show…which I don't even watch either.

Its meant to be tongue in cheek - and it is funny. Abdul's been around for alot longer than Ellen - as a performer, a singer, a choreographer. Sorry, but those saying she is talentless don't have a clue (no, her career didn't start with Idol!).
I still don't understand why Ellen has been chosen for Idol… Its a lightweight choice for a lightweight show I guess - out to get ratings.
