T-Swizzle Radio Interview Gone Awry!

On the MJ Morning Show, Taylor Swift made it quite clear that she did NOT want to discuss the Kanye drama of Sunday!
The interview didn't start off well! The host, Todd "MJ" Schnitt, was giving Taylor mayjah shiz about being late. It happens, she's a superstar.
Although he was given a list of facts about the country singer, MJ claims that he was never told to refrain from asking about the incident! So, Taylor answered the best she could and asked to change the subject THREE times, while the radio host pushed her by continually harping on the subject and giving her "tips" about her career.
Eventually, Taylor's reps had to intervene and she ditched the call.
Epic fail on her management's part paired with the abrasive host, but Swift handled herself quite well!

This is so NOT true. I live in FL & was actually listening to the MJ show this morning. He didn't give "mayjah shiz" for being late…he was extremly nice about it. The whole time he was waiting for her to arrive,MJ was speaking on air with one of her people. They takled back in forth the whole tim about the Kanye thing, this women never ONCE metioned to him not to tak to Taylor Swift about it, the lady even stated and agreed with MJ about how this whole thing is good for her career. Yes, Taylr Swift tols him she didn't want to talk about it anymore, BUT why is she doing this little radio tour, what the heck does she think people are gonna ask…this radio tour is all because this Kanye thing happened. What a douche…. I felt so bad for Taylor during that interview. He made her feel so uncomfortable the whole time. She doesn't have to talk about anything she doesn't want to. She's not obligated to talk about Kanye West just because the incident happened on TV. I wasn't even really a Taylor Swift fan before, but damn, leave the poor girl alone!

I understand that people want to hear about it because of sensationalism but you could tell she was getting uncomfortable. She did politely try to answer and he took that as it was ok to continue. I can look past if he just misunderstood and took her carefully crafted responses that discussed the positive aspects that resulted from the situation as permission. It just would mean that he wasn’t able to pick up subtle hints and wasn’t perceptive. MJ however was completely out of line when she spoke up and point blank said that she did not want to talk about it. That's where he should have stopped. It was disrespectful to continue.

She will get better at this hopefully when she get's older - What scares me is the bigger they are the harder they fall - This worries me becuse the first time she even sort of mis steps - you know the hounds will be waiting- It's a visious business and she will have to become stronger. I don't think the jock was out of line at all - an artist has the right to ask not to talk about something - it does not mean that request will be honored- She is also working out of Nashville where everyone loves her - as does much of the world but they do not have as much experience with artists at this level - as say NY or LA - Not that Nashville is bad - they have some of the finest music people and studio's , writers and on and on - I just hope they have enough experience to protect her from herself if it ever comes to that

i understand where their both coming from. as a host you have to ask questions that the public wants to hear, so of course hes going to ask questions about kanye west because we all know what happened and we want to know how she feels about it. and mj is right if she thinks that other hosts aren't going to ask her questions about kanye shes delusional. but at the same time she asked him more than once to move on to a different subject and he didn't listen, he kept pushing the subject and she was getting annoyed(i would have also) so i understand why she stopped the interview. she keeps her cool which i respect but if that were me i don't know how i would handle those situations.
seriously, though, every single interview she goes on for a while is going to want to ask that question. she should be prepared to answer it in some way, not just get pissed and walk away. i think she's being immature.

The proper way to conduct this interview would have been to talk about Taylor, not Kanye. THEY'RE NOT INTERVIEWING KANYE!!! The whole reason why she's doing these interviews is to promote her music and to thank the fans. The reason why the kanye thing was such a horrible event for her was because she didn't get to have her proper moment of congratulations for being one of the top selling artists of the year. This should have been her time, but once again some lousy little half celebrity jerk is getting in her way. This MJ needs to learn a couple lessons about respect in the world of proper journalism/ mass communications. oh, and maybe read the emails that people send to you to warn you about what topics are off limits.

Re: #1 – I don't think you understand the nature of what a radio jocks job is - He asked the hard questions and didn't give up and thats why a lot of people listen - He is not required to even be as nice as he was - He was doing his job and has probably gotten more hit's for his station web site than they have ever had - which is good for business - It can be a nasty business - I don't want to offend you but I am telling the truth

I'm not surprised the radio station did that - because interviewers tend to ask obnoxious questions. I think Taylor handled it with complete class. Taylor is obviously a genuinely nice person. She has no intention of milking this and stomping all over Kanye for the rest of the year. She doesn't need to. Her music sells on its own quite well, she doesn't need to be a tabloid queen to get attention.
Taylor is showing over and over again how classy she is. Kanye apologized. She said she accepted and therefore she is moving on. If you genuinely accept someone's apology, you let the incident go. If she were to keep going on and on about it - it would make her acceptance of his apology fake. I don't believe her to be fake.

It's horrible! Poor Taylor. MJ needs to take some TIPS from T-Swift and learn to have some respect. I listened to this on another site and that DJ was a total Asshole to her! She WAS very nice and told him 3 times to move on and he REFUSED TO DO SO. That is in and of itself and act of bullying for ratings. I think there has been enough press on this issue that the entire world pretty much knows what happened. She isn't going to tell him something that none of us know.
