In addition to mocking Ellen DeGeneres, Divas host Paula Abdrool also insisted upon performing on VH1's show last night.
And by performing, we mean lipsynching, of course.

Perez, I don't know why Paula became the devil. Idol was cheap not to give into her demands. I love the idea of Ellen taking over but please, Ryan or Randy are worth more than Paula? They get a decent contract and Paula doesn't? Give me a break. The "rivalry" between Paula and Simon made for such great television… It's a shame the way the whole thing went down….

That was a very embarrassing performance..OUCH! I saw her almost lose her balance and bust her ass a couple of times..OH GOD and the DRESS…PEREZ must have helped her get ready b/c it's a NO NO! The dance moves are out dated too…Poor Paula. Better Luck next time!
Her doctor forgot to tell her not to drink, drive heavy equipment, SING, DANCE or ACT while on her "medications".

ok, first of all. Please look at about 2:46 .. im pretty sure she just about busts her ass and would have fallen into the crowd but caught herself and then tried to play it off after that.. that was a TOTAL accident. BAGHAHAHAHAH.. and second, if youre going to lip sinc.. do just that then.. SINC. the mic was in neverland have the times she was supposed to be singing and finally.. Paula, i think its time to retire =)
Paula has to lip-synch, she never had a great voice in the first place. She was a good choreographer, cute, a dancer, with a decent voice, and they took her in a studio and turned it into a package… but actually singing talent? Doesn't have it.

Seems kind of Catty to me! Ellen is a genuinely nice person and for paula to take a shot like that just seems mean spirited. Maybe the reason idol didn't hire her back is because she thinks a bit more highly of herself than the rest of the world.

i don't know if it was just me, but when she was talking didn't it look like she was on something? after the show was over i actually said to myself i just wasted 2 hours of my life on garbage. i miss the old diva shows when people who actually contributed something to the music world performed.
paula has remained sweet, honest and good despite her fame and success. she hasn't performed live in many years (methinks), but still manages to drive the crowd crazy. good for her!
it wasn't bad, she almost missed a few cues and you can see the mic away from her hand at times.

Good lord…they don't actually want us to think that SHE is a diva do they? Not in a million years! Her "dance" moves are laughable as she doesn't have many moves, her lip synching was awful and yeah…she almost landed on her ass. She is a total has been. All of those songs were horrible 20 years ago and they are horrible now. She is just proving that she is desperate for attention and probably realizes she screwed up her career by ditching Idol. Please…she is insulting to Ellen and trying to bring up Idol references at every stop is just embarrassing. Shut up Paula and go hide in obscurity please. Can't happen soon enough in my opinion.

Re: longjewishlegs – No it didn't. It was old, tiring and childish on both of their parts. I hated their stupid act and cringed anytime either of them acted like idiots. Plus its always disrespectful to the contestant on the stage. None of her comments were EVER relevant to the person. She deserves to be gone. Ellen will rule and will be the best to have happened to this show.

That was really hard to watch. You feel embarrassed for her. All I could think of was the movie Sunset Boulevard and Norma Desmond wanting her "close up". I hate to say it but she is not a Forever Your Girl but forever an old lady trying to be young again. She could have had a much better outfit on and done the songs in a really tasteful age appropriate way, I really do say that with respect! When she almost fell I think I could hear her hip break, all she needs now is a walker and she can hit the road with Forever Your Geriatric tour… I know I am being mean now but hey, did she not learn from her MTV awards "Vibology" number back in the late 80's where that went so very wrong?! I guess not.

yeah shes not a vocalist shes a dancer she would be a great vegas act…..and yeah she did the lipsynching thing but we saw this on tv for free its not like we paid more than a hundred to see her in concert and she lipsyched her whole performance like fucking britney does….yeah she almost fell but she caught herself not bad for someone with back injuries….and as far as comparing her dancing to janet j well paula is the one who taught j how to move in the first place….just look at all of jj first vids….shes lighter on her feet that jj and jj didn't sing live either so whatever people still loved it…i think all the queens, old schoolers, and idol lovers would sell out her shows in vegas if she did perform there
