Will.i.am Sued For Being A Hack!

And this isn't the first time!
Will.i.am, Fergie and several others involved in the recording of the 2006 song Voodoo Doll (off the former meth addict's solo album) are being sued by the musical group Groundation.
The group claims that the song "is substantially and strikingly similar" to their single Each One Teach One, which was recorded in 2000.
Not surprising for someone who has been plagued by copyright scandals in the past!
The suit seeks unspecified damages.
Get ready to pay up!

Always wonder why artists wait so long to sue somebody for plagiarizing them, often three - five or 10 years after.
And often this is very popular songs when they were released so they should have recognized them as a copycat products immediately.

The song being contested is 'Waterfall', not 'Each One Teach One'. If you are going to report something, please report it correctly. The horn line in Voodoo Doll is the exact same as 'Waterfall'. Considering 'Waterfall' came out in 2000 and 'Voodoo Doll' was released in 2006, it is pretty apparent that the horn line was lifted.
