   Call me a Cynic - but it just seemed to me like a dog and pony show, using "Little Chelsea" as a prop. It just appalls me what some musicians will do to gain an audience.
   No tears, goosebumps or accolades from me. Just numb with a side of disgust.

   Please learn not to take things so literally in music. It only shows your lack artistic understanding. In this song she's referring to the amazing kind of love and innocence she feels from the person in the song. She's not talking about death or that it's around the corner. She's saying she hopes that the person in the song doesn't lose that love and innocence and become jaded or unhappy. Jeez.

   For all those who feel the need to find something to critique… Halo (the song) is NOT about death. ‘baby I can see your halo… ive found a way to let you in etc etc’ the song is about being in love, and your love being an angel on earth.

   In the case above, she is calling Chelsea an angel. Since when did that become such a bad thing? Chelsea is far stronger and braver than I and she can't be more than 11years old. She IS truly an angel.

   Read the lyrics instead of jumping to conclusions due to the connotations of ‘halo’.

   Just tell me, how many of you made a little girls dreams come true today?

    Re: magentapyramid – You know what? It doesn't even matter if that is true, and it very well might be. The fact of the matter is she made a little girl VERY happy. All that little girl knows is she got to be onstage with her favorite artist during a concert and that is all that is important here. And how do you know she didn't meet and spend time with her before or after the concert. I'm inclined to believe she must have if this could even have taken place. I am no huge Beyonce fan but I choose not to be a cynic in this instance.

    This is a real powerful moment! I watched this yesterday. Now, just looking at the still image, I recollect feeling a warm fuzzy in the 80's w/C. Cox Dancing in the Dark Video. This is so much more and will be the benchmark for beauty, love, hope and infinity. They are so beautiful together! They will not fade away!

    Hmm.. 1st of all I wanna just say that Im a big Beyonce fan.. N Iv always thought she's a wonderful person.. That's the impression I get from her interviews n stuff.. But,something about this vid is a little troubling to me.. I think it was a great gesture,n it is very touching,but I really don't like the part where she says I pray u wont fade away again n again.. I knw the lyrics are pray "it",but it sounds like you in this vid. Unless this song was requested by chelsea herself,then that's great.. But those words kinda struck me as inappropriate.. Again,Im not trying to hate on Beyonce or the gesture.. Im sure beyonce's intentions were nothing but good. However maybe a different song,or like some1 suggested changing the lyrics slightly,would have been better.. Unless it was her request of course.. Still,kudos to Beyonce.. Children suffering is a very emotional subject for me,so Im glad she took the time to help this little girl.. Hope she gets better asap..

    how can there be a god if innocent children are ridden with cancer, and other terminal illnesses each year? surely there is no god. & if there is, how sick is he? he has this power to heal, & instead he watches his "children" die unfairly.
