Kate Gosselin really knows how to keep the media attention on her.
The mother of eight, who's working towards getting her own TV show, is now talking about missing her ex-husband, douchebag Jon Gosselin.
Well, the Jon she used to know at least.
During a recent conference at the Southern Women's Show in Charlotte, N.C., Kate told the crowd of 700 that, "I miss Jon, the Jon I used to know."
How pathetic sad.
And in an interview she goes on to explain her guest stint on The View, stating "It is sort of like a career move, so I had to do it. … I've been given the gift of gab, so why not use it?"
Why not just focus on raising your kids and investing the money you already have?

Why does she have to "focus on her kids"? Men are never told to do that. It's okay for a woman to have a career/life of her own outside of being a mom.
What's wrong with pursuing a career if you want to…being a mother is great, the best job ever, but not the ONLY job a woman can have.

In a "man's world", there would be no problem with her working two, three or even four jobs to bring home the bacon. There's no need to raise money to send them to school, the state of Pennsylvania agreed to pay for their college educations after their birth. So in other words, the show is completely unnecessary (as usual) and at the rate they are spending it, those kids won't have any money left in a year anyway. Great parenting. These two losers get zero of my respect after dragging their children through the depths of hell and parading around like selfish idiots. Child services should take them away and stop this show, the kids already don't have a chance at normality thanks to these people and their greedy choices.

I'll bet she misses having him to boss around, and berate. It made her feel superior. As for working, when you have eight little kids going through a traumatic divorce, attending school and working for you (i.e. filming the show) maybe it IS a good idea to stay home and give them your undivided attention. Work when they are older, and for once in your life, put them first, not yourself, your own career, and your own materialism and greed.
She has had a taste of "the good life" or money. She would rather have that, then take care of her kids. They are all going to go against there parents when they are older anyway. Might as well make as much as she can so she can afford being sued by them!!

I don't think she should do both shows, she would never have time to see her kids. I think it is fine if she works, but nannies should never raise there kids. It would be best for her to do her talk show and get her kids out of the picture ASAP.

Im a single mother with one child and I have a good job. I struggle daily with finances and making ends meet. If I had the chance to do the things that Kate has I would without a doubt. The thought of securing my childs future to be easier and weight of paying for college off my shoulders is worth alot. I work harder and spend more time away from my daughter than Kate. Give her a break for doing what she can for her children.

Wow Perez did you finally see the light! Kate nor Jonny boy have been home with the kids for over four days now. In fact she hasn't been home in a week. She was only a few hours away in NYC but I guess hanging with the bodyguard was more exciting than being a Mother.
She has tons of money from $75,000 per episode that her kids made, plus the sales of the book that someone else wrote, and the $20 per picture cash she accepted from people in church audiences. Oh, except for the fact that they had to buy a mansion, new cars, boob jobs, pedicures, manicures, spa days, condominiums far from their children and God knows what else along with all the freebies they received over the years. She wants a career for herself. The children will soon be sent away like the dogs because they served their purpose. These people are both huge dopes and their children will pay the price, poor things.

Sounds to me like she is thinking of her children. Six in college will be expensive. Jon doesn't seem very interested in taking care of anyone except himself. Why should she stay home when they're at school? Most women are working, she seems very concerned with their well being.
