The Hoff Claims He Wasn't Drinking

After reports surfaced this morning that David Hasselhoff was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning, the Hoff is striking back saying that he was suffering from an ear infection and yesterday's events were a complete misunderstanding.
Right!
Apparently, Hasselhoff couldn't reach his family doctor after the mixture of Antivert, an ear infection med, and Antabuse, a med for alcoholism, caused an imbalance in his equilibrium. He wasn't feeling well so that's why an ambulance was called.
We distinctly remember The Hoff spewing similar BS doing damage control last time this happened in May.
Not sure if you're convincing anyone, David.

Anti vert is a strong med that helps with the equlibrium which would make sense if he was having inner ear issues. It is a nasty thing to suffer from Vertigo because of inner ear infections. The attacks mimic drunkenness or stroke at times.
this denial just makes him look like a bigger alcoholic. just admit that you fell off the wagon. who really cares anyway?
All he has to do is prove he was indeed taking 'Antabuse', and he's in the clear since this drug makes it so alcoholics can't drink.
I have no idea if that's the truth or not, but I did have known someone I worked with on antabuse, and they have to be extremely careful any/all other medications and what they ingest.

He's probably lying. But it is true about that Antabuse drug, mixed with certain things can cause an extreme reaction. Even using hand sanatizer can cause extreme nausea and vomiting. In many cases they recommend going to the hospital because the reactions are so severe. He's probably been taking that pill and tried to drink cause he's a moron anyway he would get extremely sick.

Yes Perez but it gives it much more credence when you research the story and find out he was released from the hospital not long after. Doesn't sound like a stomach pump to me…sounds like they had to mess with his doages. I am not a Hoff lover by any means, (man annoys me like no other) BUT its not cool to joke about someone when they are alchohlic and trying to stay sober. Especially when you were as bad as he was with drinking. Give him a break for once.
