It's NOT The Kate Gosselin Show!
Kate Gosselin, while involved in the pilot, is not the star of upcoming talk show Mom Logic - celebrity chef, Paula Deen is the one in control!
Apparently Deen has the final say in the casting decisions and with Kate still under a TLC contract for Jon and Kate Plus 8, it's uncertain whether Kate will be a permanent fixture on Mom Logic.
The ratings for Jon and Kate Plus 8 have fallen drastically since their ugly divorce has been on display in the media, so it's possible that this season could be the last for the show.
If Kate does get cast as part of the core panel for Mom Logic, the family might have to make a move from Pennsylvania to New York as the show plans to be filmed in Manhattan.

and who is home with the kids while they are gallivanting around?? i am soooo sick of hearing about these two and how they are doing it for the kids. that is the biggest crock of sh*t. they are doing it for themselves. i hate these people.
Actually the ratings for their show have not gone down from their average weekly rating over the past couple of years. They've gone down from the couple of shows that people were glued to in the spring when they announced their divorce.
I'm afraid that the show with the kids is going to be on the air for quite a while to come.
Since the media (yourself included) LOVE bashing one or other of the Gosselins, it looks like the hate is going to be shifted to Kate now that Jon-boy is hiding out from the press. How can we go on living if we can't sit around discussing how awful these people are?
I know this might be off subject but Paula Deen has to be one of the most annoying people…I wouldn't watch her if she was on TV.

Most of the comments bashing Kate on the View's message board are from GWOP losers who bragged about making up multiple usernames and posting over and over. It's a full time job for some of those nutcases to stalk the Gosselins (online and in real life). The View loves the multiple posts - they don't care who says what and why, it's all about the ratings and getting tons of hits on their site. Kid of like Perez!

Actually Jasmine, TLC has not published the ratings for several weeks so we don't know how far they have fallen!

awww give Kate a break - they have set a standard of living for their children (thanks to TLC) and now she must maintain this standard w/ her family's show tanking in ratings. I don't think it would be fair to the children to go back to living paycheck to paycheck. It is a good idea that she team up w/ Paula as a balance of loud southener and reserved northerner. If you don't like her just don't watch-I'm sure there are people that will watch.

I hope for the kids that she bags the show because those kids will need $ for therapy sessions, college and hopefully all the good things (not bad but good things). I wish'em luck. I am on no one's side. I am on the side of the children.

Saw the show last night pathetic all about Kate and Farmer Tommy. Kate if you didn't know the Amish will sale the English any thing and tell you they grew it!
Paula is a real genuine person, she won't put up w/ Katezilla for very long, like maybe 15 minutes of fame.

Oh, meant to say, love Paula Dean ~ I got a chance to meet her once, and she came across as so real and so charming. Better yet, her staff, or the folks at Food Network that work with her seem to just adore her ~

I think these parents are patheticcccc. I used to watch the show and now I can't even stomach it ..they are ruining their kids lives with a tv show that was supposed to be for the kids in the first place. kate is a famewhore and using her kids to get there.
I hope Kate gets the gig on this show. Kate is a nurse, a good mother, and has the gift of gab. She will be an asset to Mom Logic. She needs to go out on her own and sever all business ties with Jon who has been living off her and the kids for 10 years.
