Sherlock Holmes Sequel In The Works Already! Possibly with Brad Pitt!

The first one hasn't even hit theaters yet, but Warner Bros. is already getting the Sherlock Holmes sequel off the ground.

Along with bringing in new writers and securing Robert Downey Jr. to reprise his role as the great Sherlock Holmes, there is also a plan in place to nab Brad Pitt for a new role.

Brad, Robert, and Jude Law all in one flick?! DO IT!!!!!!!

Brad would be playing Moriarty, Holmes’ arch nemesis, a character who remains unrecognizable and hidden in shadow throughout the first film. However, if Brad is to sign on and does so before the December release, there is a chance that Guy Ritchie will step in to bring a shot or two of Brad for the first film.

This thing sounds like it could pretty epic. Hopefully, it won't be a total let down.

Do U think this could be the next big franchise or the next big flop?

So basically Pitt movies can't make any money unless they are ensemble movies with other more popular actors, like those Oceans Eleven movies.

  2. 2

    AWESOME choice of actors.
    hopefully it kicks ass!

  3. 3

…if they show Brad's huge cock it will be a franchise. If not, well…

Re: karencarpenter – NOT BAD!!..I'D WATCH IT..JUST FOR THE COCK YA KNO?

This sadly just isnt true :o (

They filmed the Moriati bits in Greenwich Uni, London a few weeks ago. The whole place was on High Brad alert and he wasnt there, some other bald actor was. :o (

Apparently this gossip was spread to discredit Ritchies film, as Brad would need to be drawn in to 'save' it.

HO hum, its OLD news anyway.

If they do right by the original Sherlock Holmes stories, then it should be pretty epic!

Re: canadiancutie9 – Do they ever do right to any original stories?

The trailor had way too much going on.
So Im not sure if I want to see it.
I was excited for it, and then I saw the trailer.

    Sounds like a big hit.

Now, on a totally unrelated note . . . I just saw the movie "300" for the first time . . . jesus christ, I'll be watching that one over-and-over until I'm a creepy old lady.

    NO MORE BRAD PITT PLEASE!!!

  14. 14

NO MORE BRAD PITT PLEASE!!! everyone thinks he is a great actor. he is NOT! he cannot act!!!! in movies, it looks like brad pit dressed as the character and playing someone else. it does not look like he is actually becoming a character. he is bullshit and over rated.

My feeling is "NO" on Brad Pitt. He's not needed here, and there are other actors that can do villain so very well. This first film already looks good with the Robert/Jude chemistry. Get someone that's going to bring some believable, badass villain.

For fucks suck…Brad Pitt CAN NOT ACT…
Good movies with him in it are an accident…

  17. 17

Oh not Brad Pit again. Overestimated actor. Perez, you have such girlish tastes. Please become a man, and admire great acting (Sean Penn, Philip Seymour-Hofmann, etc…). Love you ;-)
